Great cattle health starts when they're young and we try to take the best care of our calves as possible! We started a new calf barn cleaning protocol - join us to learn what we're all doing for healthy calves. Mason also gives an update on #plant24 after running into some issues with our Precision Planting during our first week of planting.

@@NewAgeCustomFarming My family has been ranching in the Big Bend area of West Texas for 130 yrs. We had families of cats in the barnyard. Never fed them. They really controlled the mice population. They were truly wild…..

You mentioned you're not getting as many calves. We have been buying bull calves from neighboring dairy farmers for 35 years as part of our diversified operation. Recently it has become almost impossible to find them with so many selling out and using sexed and beef semen. We now buy 3 to 400 pounders of all different breeds. We're in Ontario.

Yes - I think our problem was just the time of year, not many calving in general. Were starting to get a lot more now
