Wirtual has 16 more hours than Brenn in it, it makes sense that you'd have more practice with almost 20% more time. He's making up for his lack of skill by not having a life

@@Essence1123I dont have horse in the race, but come on mate... One has 110 hours, the other like 95... That is pretty much the same at this point. Bren definitely seems the most consistent out of all, and reaching floors quickest and most routinely. This will make the difference imo at the end when the real grind starts and he needs like 45 min to the top while others need 1+ h, just to get to the final attempts.

@@Essence1123Different people learn at different rates. Accepting that and putting in the time to deal with that isn't a lack of skill. Learning rate doesn't say anything about the skill ceiling of a person. If you always learn quickly, that may even limit your skill ceiling because you never build up the work ethic to push yourself beyond the point you can easily reach. This is why a lot of extremely smart kids fail in school. The above-average kids with good work ethic often get further in life. That being said, the other players in the top spots for this map obviously also have good work ethic. You don't get to floor 11 without extreme perseverance.

It does look like the jump has a predictable setup though. I`m kind of puzzled they are not trying to read more into the shape of the second red block, it seems like a flowguide.

@@seculi7757 don't quote me on that, but I've heard someone saying that mapper added these to block people from making cuts. And Bren attempted that exact cut in my first video

Yea its rough without checkpoints. You usually only have 1 attempt before you have to make your way back up again to even attempt it

Damn, floor 11 sure is bigger obstacle than anyone could have predicted. Its like 3 days now... I hope upper floors take it easier on the boys (not that much tho) so people dont lose their minds and interest in the process. Because, if it gets significantly harder, i can see this go on for like 2 more weeks, which would definitely be too much for some fans and most of the participants. Gl to all, and tnx for the video mate.

Bren making 26 minute run from the bottom to basically WR is good sign, but if only 1 attempt in 6 tries is successful - then there is definitely some issues with floor 11. I guess there is "streamer doesn't know" moment somewhere there, because mapper said he made 10 successful attempts in a row.

@@teoriskaiHonestly, creators should have tried other floors for a few days and if 10+ ppl say its too much, it should have been taken into consideration. Because i can only imagine how many times that guy played his floor, probably 1000+ attempts combined, he probably could have done it with his eyes closed. Not comparable with a guy who plays half an hour focused just to get to that point... But it is what it is. As i said as long as next few floors are more consistent, this will be solved and fine. If we have 5 harder floors after this, with some insane jumps, ppl will lose intrest sadly.

@@teoriskaiWell I mean the mapper can just set a checkpoint and retry as much as he wants. The others have to climb back up all over again. That takes a toll on your nerves

oh I'm not defending mapper. Personally, it looks ridiculous when mapper says "I can do it 10 times in a row", but best of the best right now barely making 1 in 5 attempts successful. I just think that there is some stuff that isn't being used properly. And talking about that, eLconn found different setup for the jump on platform before quarter pipe, but more about that in tomorrow's video ;o
