In celebrating the centennial of Henri's seminal book "The Art Spirit," he shares intimate details about the larger-than-life artist who taught at the Art Students League in the early 1900s, forming the Ashcan School movement of New York painters.

Im a truck driver in Nebraska & while I Drive west on I80 I always see the robert henri sign post on the side of the road , it’s great to finally hear his story
