Jason, wow! Nothing was helping, and last night I couldn't listen to the whole story. You are NOT boring, I swear, but your voice is better than a sleeping pill. Thank you so much. I have read many bedtime stories to children and grandchildren. Never crossed my mind that it would work for me. I'm past 70, might be your oldest listener, but what you do is pure magic for me. @@luvely1062 How familiar are you with the term "spiritual arrogance"? My bow was ironic in the face of someone saying words to strangers for their own personal benefit and validation, under a veil of helping strangers; i.e., i bowed to their irony, ironically. I received no melatonin vibes, sincerely doubt someone self-applying the moniker 'Mëøw gang' would possess the remote viewing capacities to transcend space and time to notice my reading of her words and--along with the hundreds or even thousands of other readers in their own times and places--fulfil her end of the gift. Sometimes I play these bedtime stories for my adult daughter who has multiple disabilities. She is none verbal and really seems to tune into listening to a mans voice. I used to have pretty severe social anxiety and I think the trick to preparing for the next day was talking through base interactions i might have. so for example, ‘i have school tomorrow, i know i can talk to my friends, is there anyone else i might interact with? okay, here is one way of going about that’. obviously that doesn’t help for the non interactional part of that, like walking down halls, but it always helped. and finding a mantra that i could say during those difficult times helped too, so maybe you could spend some time on figuring out something to say to yourself during all of this that doesn’t invalidate what you’re feeling but instead works with it, identifies your strengths, and works for you

I’ve listened to sleep meditations and stories for years. I have always been a bad sleeper and somethings never right. Whether it be I can’t get comfy or I get comfy and my foot itches or I need or drink or a need the bathroom or I’m too hot or too cold and even I’ve too much duvet I can’t breathe or half the duvets on the floor. Somethings never right. But this. This is something else, thank you so much for helping me sleep I love the stories and hope to see more 💫

One headphone must has popped out coz I could still hear u talking in one ear in my dream. I was telling my sister i couldn't understand her coz a man was talking in my ear! She wouldn't believe me hahaha! I was actually starting to get worried in the dream because it wouldn't stop and i thought i was going crazy!! Such a laugh!

Really enjoyed going into Thomas's childhood and listening as he found the place that made him happy. Traveling to other cultures IS life-changing and something everyone should do...with an open mind. I hope that someday the vaccine passport isn't required so that I can see the few more places on my bucket list.

I can't believe I found this video again after so long! (Small story time) So when this was more new maybe about a month or so of being posted I was about 11 (now 14) and I have to say this story helped me a lot. During the weekends I went over to my father's place which thankfully I don't any more. I struggled and still struggle with insomnia though it was a lot worse back then so sleeping was already a nightmare for me but I had as set bedtime at my father's and would get in trouble if I wasn't asleep when I was told to go to bed. The bedtime was at about 8pm so super early which just made it even harder. I shared a cramped futon with my two younger siblings and it always reeked of dog because they had like 4 dogs. I'm allergic to dog dandruff and saliva so I was having bad allergies all night to. The futon was a very rough fabric and made me itchy so I'd have to use my blanket too lay on top of. He didn't provide blankets for us though and we had to bring our own from my ma's house which meant we couldn't bring many or really big ones with us. My father preferred to sleep in freezing temperatures so I was always freezing. Huddling up under a small blanket to keep warmth. They didn't provide pillows either but I only had one pillow at the time because the second one that I'd brought over had been torn up by the dogs so I had to make a makeshift pillow with my hoodies. Obviously this isn't a very comfortable environment to sleep in. The light from the bathroom had too stay on as well because my little sister is afraid of the dark unlike me who prefers to sleep in total darkness. My siblings also snored as well as my older brother who slept on a top bunk (there was no bottom bunk) on the other side of the very small room the 4 of us shared. He's extremely loud when he snores as well. I wasn't allowed benadryl or anything after a few nights of using it because I was just 'wasting it' and they wouldn't give me melatonin either? I never found out the reason but I find it absolutely satire that they'd refuse too let me. Anyways I couldn't fall asleep to music at the time because my music taste was very - loud. I listened to heavy metal and rock so not something I could fall asleep to. I figured hey why not try a bedtime story? I had heard they really help people of all ages to sleep. I had searched a few but none really seemed to help. Either they were to boring and I'd get distracted (having adhd that's very easy for me too do) or they were to interesting to the point I'd hyperfocus and refuse to fall asleep until I heard the ending. When I came across this one though it was like a match made in heaven. I listened for about 10 minutes and was so engaged yet not all that eager to see how it ended and had fallen asleep. This was instantly my go to for an entire year and it really did help a lot. Though I stopped listening after awhile and don't really know why. I just didn't need it anymore I guess? Now that's changed though. I've been struggling a lot with sleeping again and remembered this and how much it helped me. I kid you not I scrolled for over half an hour trying too remember what the cover image and title was but I finally found it! Small add on but I honestly felt even more content with listening to this after I finally heard the ending because I'd always fall asleep around the same time. It's really such a beautiful story

I suffer from anxiety too but I’m anxious about how I know I’m being hypnotized. I learned in a psychology how they integrated hypnotic and meditative words to a story, but now all I can do is just listen for the buzz words that I know are trying to tell me what to do and I hate that I can’t just listen like a normal human.

This idea reminds me of how I used to create stories for my sons and nieces just before bed. We would snuggle up and I would start a story in which each child was featured with a special gift or trait, (something I recognized within them individually) then I would weave a tale of magic. Each had a glorious role to play and all smiled. We all have stories to share, some worth retelling, others are best forgotten. Stories that create true joy, healing, and wellness of the health of the whole are staples we all require, the sustanance of reality
