Love my DM12 but tbh it is a little bit noisier than my other synths. It's what you get with Behringer, I guess. I have been thinking about trading up for a Novation Peak.

hmm, I don't really remember exactly what it was but I do remember a few things: -Keep the filter resonance all the way down, turning up the resonance on those moog-style transistor ladder filters really diminishes the lows that come through -Turn up the "ext in volume" knob, which routes the audio output back in before the filter. This will REALLY beef up the sound -I know for sure I had two of the oscillators stacked an octave apart, and then the third oscillator was either a fifth above the lower octave (between the two octaves) or a fifth above the higher octave. I know both of these options sound good, but they're just different so try it out and see what you like. Try messing with the oscillator mix too. Adding that fifth basically gives you some richer harmonics on the bass so it cuts through better, but without sacrificing the low end that you've already laid down with the other oscillators. Oh, and always try different waveforms! Hope this helps!
