My thoughts are with you and your father Rob. My dad had prostate cancer and has been in remission for about 10 years. You've been like a father to a lot of people through your KZfaq channel. Your love of fishing and hunting is so infectious. I live in Clearwater, and had never really been fishing before. Your channel showed me an amazing world that's right under my nose that I never knew existed. When the pandemic started I had to figure out something to get out of the house. I started taking my kayak out to a bridge down the street that crosses the intercoastal. I went out fishing there almost every day the weather allowed after work. Probably 100 times that first year. I didn't know what I was doing at first and was happy to catch a catfish. Eventually I dialed it in though. Now I can throw a cast net, and catch mangrove snapper, sheepshead, and even the occasional keeper grouper. Fishing is a big part of my life now, but it wouldn't be without you.

I recently bought a small Boston whaler that I love more than anything your videos are inspiring, i recently went through severe panic attacks and really bad anxiety. I grew up the first 21 years essentially without my father being apart of any of it. To see such a beautifully family oriented man, not only unify the communities all together, but you inspire and entertain us while just being yourself. I have been watching your channel since I found it like three years ago. I love how you are teaching our kids about wildlife and hunting. Plus you don't try to cut them out the video's. Since watching your video's I been hunting once and loved it. Also I tune it to get recipes ideas for deer meat as well. I still haven't found recipe for a deer roast. I think you should maybe think about bringing back your segment called tasty Tuesday or a cooking segments like once a week. I know you have been busy, but I think that would be cool for you do again.

I have to be honest, Im only 25 and I watch alot of online content....To make it simple not alot of people who make videos put out content like this, that im sure has a retention time that is probably close to 95%-100%. When i watch other creators I find myself skipping around and watching their videos for a min or two. When I watch yours, I can gladly say I watch the full video through and through. You have a great way of storytelling and your videos have taught me alot about a lifestyle I hope to one day live.

Robert Ive been watching you and Gabe for a few years now and you never seem to disappoint. Ive literally fell in love with fishing and not just casting or the catch but sharing the knowledge the 2 of you have given many pple thru your channels. For someone like myself who has always loved sports and being active to lose everything after going thru 2 back surgeries, to finding a hobby i can sit and truly enjoy has meant the world to me. Yikes, kinda seems like a near disaster waiting to happen. Standing up while maneuvering around each other, distracted by a gator attacking the boat. Glad you're all safe and I'm sure it looked safer from the boat...maybe. 😅 Thanks for sharing the family moments!

Protecting the family at all coat. Losing an alligator is not the same as losing a loved one. My prayers for your Dad receiving good results on his prostrate. I hope he caught it early. Enjoy your family.
