I generally use carbonated water when I make that batter, the bubbles make it lighter in my opinion, beer works too, I've done it with blue moon and it was awesome, was great to see your little girl out there fishing, reminds me of taking my daughters out for bluegill when they were little, it warms the heart and makes me miss my kids being small, much love and keep up the good work!
