I see a lot of similar behavior in myself. I’m very socially anxious and struggle to stand up for myself. Granted, I never have to. I’m not bullied because im not ugly, I wear nice, clothes and I’m quiet and keep to myself. But if someone were to talk to me like this I would probably try to laugh or smile it off and act unbothered, kind of like he is. Probably a product of low self-esteem.
