Joe always has been a real man and a class act. A lot of people would not care and wouldn't even bother, but that is not Joe. Joe has worked his ass off for all of his money and he genuinely cares and wants the very best for his fans. We really appreciate him taking the time out of his schedule to address this scam and let others know what is really going on.

I know for a fact this happens ...I have gotten fake comments here on KZfaq from a scammer pretending to be Joe Elliott. And one pretending to be Rick Savage. I sent no money or anything like that, and I did tell them I knew it wasn't REAL. Thank you, Joe, so much for caring about your fans . ❤

My wife works card security/fraud for a major international credit card company - and the scams/frauds she deals with on a daily basis are off the charts these days. Authorities in many countries aren't doing enough to combat it. Whether it's lack of financial resources, manpower or just ambivolence on their part...more has to be done to stop this from being a lucrative revenue source for scammers and fraudsters.

I had someone on Facebook saying that they were Vivian Campbell & supposedly had something wrong with his phone & was asking me for money for a new phone & I said no & then they asked me if I had a bank account & I said yes . Then they asked me to see my debit card & said hell no . I said there's no way the real Vivian Campbell would be asking someone like me that's on disability for money or to even see my debit card . So I told that person that I was going to be contacting a friend of mine that's a cop & he'll be tracking him down for the real Vivian Campbell to prosecute for identity theft & for some reason after I said that . That person logged off of that Facebook page & I haven't heard from that person since .
