I'd say you can group claims of Biblical "contradictions" into 4 groups, all easily resolved. 1. Contractions with itself - like, what were Jesus' last words? I forget the resolution for that one. 2. Contradicting history - like, there was no Exodus. Resolution - Yes there was. 3. Contradicting reality - like, people living hundreds of years, talking animals, super powers, etc. All things are possible through God. 4. Deeper reading contradictions - like, Jesus was a poor unknown carpenter who was also visited by foreign kings and powers who bowed to him and showered him with gifts. Easily explained that Joseph and Mary spent the money and everyone else forgot about it. Cheers.

Matthew and Luke can't even agree on the name of Joseph's father, so your story book isn't as univocal as you claim. We only need one inconsistency or error to debunk the inerrancy of the Bible and this one does it. But there are others. What about the scientific facts that Adam and Eve never existed or Noah's flood never happened? Two things it got wrong, but on top of that, Jesus believed in them, so he wasn't all-knowing. Why don't you guys ever try to tackle the ACTUAL errors and contradictions?

Well said. Muslims also claim there aren't any contradictions in the Quran, which is also laughable. Same with any other religion that has a book that makes claims - their book is perfect and all other holy books are full of lies and contradictions. The desire to believe is powerful.

I'll explain the contradiction of Jephthah because y'all blatantly ignored the third paragraph. God is all knowing. So he knew that the daughter would greet jephthah. AND YET he condoned child sacrifice. Saying this was a pride thing is laughable.
