5/5 rating for this rifle . Looking at specification it's slightly better than AK203. If we modify Insas rifle along with this , we've both 7.62 mm and 5.56 mm assault rifles . Both have different utilities

Ak203 and This rifle is totally different category... Its 7.62 * 51 where as Aks is 39 caliber. It's comparison should be with sig sauer.

Great decision to forge a new military airfield at Lakshadweep Islands. Also, AMCA development needs to be fast tracked and simultaneously a contingent deal for SU-57 acquisition needs to be considered seriously.. we cannot negotiate with the US for F-35B

This is not good. Why we are pakcentric , we must be prepared to counter not only pak but also PLA. I have been observing since last 2-3 days that india needs 5th gen fighter from fastrack method..... this is not good why didnot we react same when pla inducted 5th gen fighter in its airforce. Time changes and what we have seen that china is acting as more potential threat to us than pak and galwan valley attack and various attacks are reason of it. After taiwan chinas focus would definitely get inclined towards arunachal so we must be prepared ................. .. I hope gov will increase our defence budget especially more funding to RnD

DRDO is great. Kudos to them. Are they exploring the technologies which can bring back our missiles after firing if we want to. As our acesistors used to do Sri Rama, Sri Arjuna, Sri Krishna? It will be a game changer. Here I'm not talking of self destruction. UAV are flying on their own and coming back after the operation.

Actual fact hai j20 ek true 5th gen fighter jet nahi hai because of it's canod design and low power generate engine. But china iss sabko overcome kar lia hai. Khudka engine bhi bana lia hai. Mujhe lagta hai j31 ek true 5th gen fighter jet hoga.

@@user-uh6wb3hm6u It's a myth actually. If ws engine was more powerful than f22, there was no need for canod design in j20. This canod design has clearly shown the j20 power. But I am sure that j31 would be a true 5th generation fighter jet because of new engine with more thrust and canodless design.

Let's understand one thing how is India going to manage these 3 rifles AK 203, Ugraam & Sigsor. How will it be distributed among the armed forces and moreover isn't it going to complicate the maintenance, war storage and logistics by bringing 3 rifles into the picture ?

All armies of the world have different type of rifles for specific needs. It's a need of the defence forces .

@@anuragsachdev4841 that's the question, what are the different requirements with same category of rifles. I am not criticizing the decision, it's just a curiosity. Because the Airforce in the 80s-90s era had the similar issue with several mix of aircrafts, just check US or UK you will know that the mix of different classes of fighter planes were very close.

This looks like a short barrelled AR-10 with the same ammo. The AR-10 is long as the 7.62 bullet achieves proper velocity in an 18" barrel. Unless we are designing a new round like a 300blk in 7.62 or a creedmoore round, this may just be an unoptimized version of AR-10.

I don't understand one simple thing, will India stop AK 200 manufacturing from UP factory, even before it comes to realisation. If not, then why this AR is getting so much of attention from your side, even before its trial. Also, why a very well developed AR by SSS defence couldn't make it to army trials till now???
