I think Indian airforce wants to use second hand mirages and other old airplanes as manned or unmanned decoys in the event of war. They might also be used for unmanned bombing missions deep inside the enemy territory and avoid abhinandan like incident.

I think we should only have Miraj 2000s in air force. I think they are the best stealth, 10th generation alien aircrafts in the world. It's the out of the world technology and we can travel Interstellar to other planets with these great Miraj 2000s

@@rippergamingofficial3128 Military minds does not always have to think high tech. Some times low tech can be used effectively to defeat high tech weapons. Also best out of waste is a useful concept. Rather than building new planes it is wise to use old planes who are as good as gold to perform special tasks. I have seen many rich peoples go to scrape yard and buy old iron materials to build fences for their properties. I think it is a smart and brilliant move to buy old planes, put new technologies in it and make them lethal weapons at less cost, not as frontline defences but expendable first line of attack in unmanned mode.

@@nileshnaik6295yeah, that is a great move by Indian airforce. I think we should try to contact museums as well and try to find 2nd WW fighter aircrafts. If we can buy them , we will become the world's best air force. Nobody will dare to attack these most advanced , made of gold fighters. And if we are lucky we might get a cheap deal at 1 billion dollars per aircraft.

Indian government is not interested to conduct MMRCA or MRFA once more and HAL can't produce aircrafts in time because they can't give their employees salary also...... But isme IAF ki kya galti? Indian Air Force ko to apne airspace ke raksha ke liye any time apne fighter jet ke fleet ko ready rakhna hoga. Ab IAF ko majboori mai old fighters conduct karna par raha hai squadron maintain karne ke liye. Because Tejas MK II is not ready and no signal from government for MMRCA. So please don't blame IAF to conduct old fighter jets, blame government for this situation.
