@@vemaraju Can't say about Pakistan or Srilanka but as far as India is concerned, it has already procured Rafale that's at par. India is far better than many of European countries. You can't compare Rogue states like Pakistan, China and Srilanka with India.

Captor has two versions only, Captor-M and Captor-E. M is mechanical and E is AESA

@@DefenceMatrix CAPTOR-C is the original version, only fitted to Typhoons of the Tranche 1 production lot and CAPTOR-M is a later version fitted to Tranche 2 jets onwards.

Please see the typhoon's intake, the splitter plate is clearly visible. Intake ramps are also there.

Chaffs are for radar guided missile, flares are for infrared guided missile.

When chaffes are released, they burst & spread thin layers of aluminum metals on air, in hope that radar signatures emitting from the chasing radar guided a2a missiles get reflected & never been able to get back the actual aircraft's radar data, thus fooling those missiles in order to help the aircraft to evade from their attacks. Also, the thin aluminum metals can get sucked up into missile's rocket motor & compromise it - thus destroying missile's airworthiness. And, when the flares released from the evading aircraft they ignite themselves in an extent that their heat signatures emit more detectable emitting heat sources to the eye of an infrared tracker of a heat seeking a2a missile. The chasing missile tends to think that flares are the actual aircraft & get closed to the flares & detonates itself. Thus flares save the aircraft.

Not to be that guy, but it's spelled Rafale. By the way, to answer your question, ir depends on what you wanna do honestly. In Air Superiority I'd say the Typhoon has the edge, but Rafale isn't too far behind. In strike, Rafale has a clear edge. For us, Strike capability is important hence Rafale or F15 EX is a better choice than EF Typhoon. Hope that answers your question.
