All they know is the scenes they have to shoot, no more GOT set the standard in terms of actor buy-in. HOTD is just a cash grab, and it can kind of be proven by the lack of promotional materials in the lead up to season 2. The whole show in kind of soulless TBH, and this is best exemplified by Storm’s End Great Hall being filmed in a massive blue screen studio like the Mandolorian. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. GOT never would have cut corners like that.

GOT would never cut corners, by which you mean wasting millions of dollars building sets they never used, and then crying poor that they did not have the budget for CGI for the Direwolves, and had to cut the entire aspect of the story of all the Stark children being Wargs. GoT was always just treated by D&D as a stepping stone to further their career and win Emmys. It is very clear that Ryan Condal cares far more about the story than D&D did.

So her 'what if' scenario doesn't make sense because why would she want to get killed voluntarily ofcourse she had to want to be queen.

Aegon is common royal family name originated in old Valyria. There are other noble families who use the name Aegon not just the targaryens, think there is even a darklyn or a dayne named Aegon. Kinda like the names Joffrey and Daemon are used many times amongst the velayrons.
