Well that's pretty much a no brainer if you really want to put in the work but you got to also focus on the pulse and lighting they shoot its basically a hitscan . Also he is trying to shoot a video to show it off not necessarily going min max

Here - s.orbis.zone/l5x3 Keep in mind that this is a very advanced build and will take quite a few hours of grinding. You’ll need to unlock the engineers, getting them to grade 5, and getting the materials. I recommend starting off by killing scouts in AXCZs as they can be done with a easy ship build, then gradually unlocking engineers for more advanced builds. If you want to destroy interceptors, you should at least unlock guardian gauss weapons, then head to AXCZs and let the interceptor focus on the NPC ships. Let them exert the heart and then you move in and snipe the heart, then quickly gain some distance as interceptors can quickly cripple an unengineered ship.

Usually only fly without flight assist for combat manoeuvres or if i’m feeling it. I prefer mouse and keyboard as it gives more precision, but use a X56 hotas for chill gameplay.

If you're gonna go with Shards, make sure you get the pre-engineered ones from Prospect's Deep in Mbooni (?) I believe. Or maybe that was for be pre-engineered heatsinks... Either way, find Azimuth Biotech'a home system, it's in there. They modified it, they sell it. Gauss scale better into the tougher interceptors, but the shards are substantially easier to learn and use, especially if you switch sight mode to Trailing. If you're starting off, I recommend the modshards first, and then optionally move into gauss if you want.

Here! - s.orbis.zone/l5x3 These shard cannons are the Salvation modified ones, they need to be acquired from tech brokers at Glorious Prospect on Mbooni. Mbooni requires a permit which you can get by getting allied rank with Azimuth Biotech, which I got by going to LHS 1163 and doing RES site bounty hunting.

@@MuZeSiCk77 Yeah, took me quite a while of gathering resources, worse ones to grind for are the G5 manufactured materials imo

Shields aren't very useful against Thargoid attacks. Unlike human ships, they deal absolute damage not kinetic or thermal, meaning shields won't have any benefit over hull reinforcements in terms of added protection. Corrosive attacks also go straight through shields, so they're not very useful unless they're in a ship like the Cutter that can be a shield tank.

@@nullpointerexception1685 I refitted the Krait to replace the flak launcher with another shard and power is fine for me. Have you tried putting the Monstered experimental on the power plant? It should probably give enough juice, but you could also try disable non-essential systems like the cargo hatch, AFMUs and limpet controllers (since repairing is easy now)

Surprisingly it actually doesn't take long to get your ship to a point where you're comfortable in going into these station defence instances, most of my engineering is only done up to tier 2 with 3 being the max, and I've only engineered SOME things being my thrusters, power plant/distributor and fsd. Getting those things done also only took me a couple of days^ I was originally doing this in a fer de lance but tried out the Krait Mk II and it feels a LOT better, more because I feel like I can withstand much more damage. I keep finding myself just going "okay 1 more interceptor and I'll back out" but 1 turns into 5 into 10 and so on. I think the credit payouts for what is (to me) much more engaging gameplay than mining or trading is what has me struggling to leave.

1 pirate bounty for me Maybe 1-2 hours of grind but i usually get 15-28 million for pirate hunt missions in Ross 775 (if those planets are community names the guy who named that is a monster, Ross 775 ABCD 3C)

I do feel bad for new guys just getting into this. Hell I've been playing for a little over a year and I am totally unprepared for this scenario. The only reason I can help much at all is I grinded for the cutter and now use it to run refugee evacuations.

@@jonathonsilbaugh2833 Yeah. I have money to get stuff however most of the stuff requires research and missions to get. The steep learning curve of this game is keeping me from really diving into it. SC took me weeks to get into and I think ED is even worse. I need a few days and will try to outfit something to battle these.
