The entire region felt the devastating effects, and the Commissaries were no exception. Dr. Pete Skirbunt walks us through the catastrophic events that took place 25 years ago this month.

Learning about this eruption in my environmental chemistry class. The injection of sulfur into the atmosphere from this eruption led to ozone depletion the following two years! Interesting stuff

I was there,from Subic bay you'd the cloud was slowly covering the sky. By 3 in the afternoon was pitch black. Raining mud and lightning,not fun
