I love when the Tracer says her cavalry's here line the kid's face just screams "SHE SAID THE THING!"

The neat thing, is that "Doomfist's Gauntlet" was an interesting little lore tidbit that had people curious for a while, and every once in a while, people would find another little reference to this "Doomfist" character. Keeping in mind that this trailer first debuted in 2014, and the game itself came out in 2016... in July of 2017, they finally revealed that they would be adding Doomfist himself as a playable character, and he is a *powerhouse.*

For some reason that line delivery from Tracer in this one always gets me emotional. "You know? The world could always use more heroes..." Oh yeah, it could...

This was the first trailer people initially saw live at Blizzcon 2014, so its naturally a little bit different. It gives a first look at the game and the characters, shows of the general setting and basically puts the audience in the shoes of that blue kid in the sense that now they have the chance to become a hero by playing the game. It made a really good first impression back then.

I love how you guys talk about the episodes afterwards, some reactors are so quick to end the episode without really saying much. Love what you guys do!

I remember when this had first come out. Thinking it was a movie and wondering who was making it. Then found out it was a game and saw all the comments saying Blizzard should just make animation movies. The anticipation of what the game would be like and people being curious about the characters shown was really awesome at the time! Glad you both reacted to it!

Small fact - that guard looks to be playing Hearthstone another Blizzard property. Hearthstone's trailers have gradually become longer and more musical over time.

Dragons and Honor and glory are the next 2 coming out . We're almost there boys can't wait for it 🥳🥳🥳

The thing that makes this cinematic special for me is, that the first time I watched it was when it was shown for the very first time at Blizzcon.

Tracer and Widowmaker have some history tho: in "Alive" Tracer is saying to Widowmaker "Trying to crash another party, love?" (to be honest I always thought that "party" is that Museum fight) And also the Evil badass is "Reaper".

If it’s not on your guys list already I’d like to recommend the borderlands openings and trailers. They’re pretty cool. (But we do love some overwatch💙)

I feel that the older brother should be a recurring character.

Reaper is evil because he went a bit cuckoo after some experimental treatment that saved his life and gave him that misty superpower. Before he was pretty swell guy and a part of Overwatch.

That was the trailer they showed at blizzcon to announce the game, everyone was so excited! Makes me so nostalgic

So, I think the playlist y'all have is chronological in the universe but in release order, you got it spot on, this one is the first look the world had of the game before release and it was exactly what sold so many of us on the game when it came out 😌 this very much set the fanbase's bar for "Give us the Overwatch Pixar movie". Also, as you've probably guessed, you can totally do the stuff they show you here like Winston's rage and Reaper's Death Blossom.

Doomfist animation is a must watch! It's so good!

I really wished there was a animated TV series. OW has so many stories to tell. Both Blizzard & Valve has so many interesting titles and yet both of them are good at not doing anything at all.

Overwatch has one of the most engaging intros to a game I've enjoyed in years. In game Winston is a tank and CAN take a lot of damage. Reaper does NOT have those grenades, but he CAN use wraith walk and he can teleport "through the shadows" to a destination a decent distance away. he does a cool teleportation animation where he crosses his guns across his chest as he disappears. Of course Widowmaker can still headshot him as he does this animation. I've done it and had it done to me.

fun fact winston is actually very effective against widow (the sniper) as he can easily jump the distance in between and in melee he is superior. Meanwhile reaper (mask dude) is super effective against winston (and most tanks actually) as he has insane close range damage output just melting through tanks and their shields

You can tell that when tracer said the world could always use more heros, that statement stuck to the teen and possibly changing his life's direction. Who knows, he may even be a future character in the game 🤔

"he can take a lot of hits"... Well yeah, he is what we gamers call a "TANK". A tank is a frontliner who can take a lot of damage, but usually don't deal alot of damage themselves. Tracer is a damage dealer/DPS'er (damage per second). They usually deal a lot of damage, but die easily too.

Yeah, the one you couldn't remember was Reaper (and he was fighting alongside Widowmaker.) Love the reaction as always!

The evil skull mask guy was actually the Original leader of Overwatch and he became evil because they replaced him as leader with basically solder 76 after the omni crisis war

I recommend watching all the gears of war trailers they are underrated and amazing some of the best trailers ever made. If you really enjoyed the halo trailers you watched odst, believe, deliver hope then you will enjoy them! They are all usually short trailers but they are well done and chilling! I know ken played halo but have you ever played gears of war or heard of it? If so I recommend you both play them they are all couch co op and really good! What I love about them is they tell the dark side of war like other war games they are like here is alot of enemies not to worry you can kick butt and save the world! Gears of war takes a more depressing approach like you are fighting an unknown enemy your chances of winning this war are slim high chance you will die. I have been a big fan of gears of war franchise it's really good!
