I love dark humor like this because it provokes the deeper conversations such as you guys touched on at the end. Pretending that bad things don't happen, is just as unhealthy as the opposite. And dark humor often holds up that harsh mirror to force people to confront it, and make it a little less scary to talk about. Thanks for sharing, and opening up. I like that the group were wearing disguises after getting yelled at by Loona last episode for not wearing any. Also like that Loona was angry Loopty for crashing thru the window instead of using the door, while at the mansion Blitz crashes thru the window while moxie and Millie use the door

It's interesting that Blitzo is usually very cocky but when sinners get angry he seems to get nervous. It was similar with Mrs. Mayberry in Episode 1.

I like it when Millie gets rude towards their enemies.

Fun fact: if you love Blitzo then you’ll love Brandon Rogers’ content (he’s the voice actor for Blitzo) its just as absurd and immature and down right funny as Helluva Boss. I don't really have much to add to what other people have already brought up, but I will bring a couple of points out. 1. When the deer angel was going "Yeeeaaah -- sorry -- nooo....." the lines were modelled after how Vivzie would sometimes criticize a take that she didn't like and wanted to be redone. I would imagine that it is somewhat exaggerated though. This fact is only made so much better with the knowledge that it's Vivzie herself voicing the deer like others mentioned. 2. The CHERUBs are not in disguise and are messing with human lives. It doesn't seem like they have as strict rules about manifesting on Earth like the Hell beings have and their criticism towards IMP seemed highly hypocritical. Millie keeping things straight in my opinion is further evidence that the citizens of Hell appear to have a higher sense of integrity if not morals than Heaven. Not really sure about this, but it is at least how I feel personally.

I don't remember if I've said this before, but the cherubs remind me a lot of fairly odd parents, and carebears. Like I think that's what they're meant to satirise

what I adore on this series is how well made it is Hell is actually a cool place and characters are so well written and often incredibly wholesome The show is much, much more than it seems on a first glance, it touches very deep and serious topics, yet is it not afraid to make fun of itself and ANYTHING else

The reason this episode is more like the pilot or Episode 1 is frankly because it's the calm before the storm. From here out, things kick up a few notches. So, to quote Sam Jackson in Jurassic Park, "Hold onto your butts".

Thank you for that last bit - it may have been off topic but as someone with severe chronic depressions that even reached a level where the german goverment says "Ok you are barely able to get up on any given day, you are not fit for work, will get help and even count as severly disabled" i often hear those phrases like "why dont you just go for a walk, it cant be that bad" and it alwasys kills my faith in humanity a littlebit, so its nice to see others are aware of the severity these things can take and let me regain some of that faith 🙂As for Stolas - don't worry he will be back with the next episode and there will be more development of the relationship he has with Blitzo in the episodes to come^^

What a crazy episode this been, I got to give credit to Ken seeing Blitz’s twin sister poster in the background, and I can say that she was mentioned by Verosika. “Yours sister say hi” as we clearly not know if Barber Wire is in rehab or free. With that said, we might see her in future episodes. Oh yeah there is a Easter egg of “Lo Lo Land” episode with Robo Fizz being fed to the dragon on the whiteboard. Also “Spring Broke” one having Verosika in her car driving away. Also this episode had a end scene to “Memory Of” someone’s mother passing away during before this episode aired.

I also think in paradise/heaven there is not much of a laughter . Why? Because there is no crying, because everything is peaceful . It all belongs together somehow. I am also with Millie here. I am not evil but i did many bad and wrong things in life. But i would never say i am better than anyone. Bethany is right here ! If you feel bad, seek out for help. I did that to and it works. Blitz and the gang have made more enemies today. The Cherubs are now presumably trapped on Earth...will they find allies to get revenge on IMP? The adventure continues... Great reaction so I think the Cherubs will come back and this time with a vengeance. The question why they want to save Lyle Lipton since he doesn't have any redeeming qualities but they might want him for his inventions. There's a theory that there might be some corruption within heaven in the series but we'll find out later on. I like seeing the imp wearing disguises. Blitz and Moxxie look great in drags.

I suggest that do a little breakdown of the C.H.E.R.U.B Commercial in the beginning, there are some interesting details in the background, possibly.

When my dad died i felt pretty empty, because i was to young to understand it fully. When my grandmother died i was nearly destroyed, and it took me years to recover from that lost, cause she was very important, because i never had a close relationship with my mother. But, good advice and even friends and family don't help you there. Because you can't work through this emotionally by distracting yourself, you have to deal with it. I made a long list at that time, with all the things I still wanted to ask her... I then read it out at her grave. And that helped me, but everyone has to find their own way, because everyone grieves differently. Sorry for the sad stuff. It's Ken's fault 😋

I love how accurate this is to the mythology between angels and demons, because in actual mythology if you really study it angels are not as high and mighty as they are perceived, they are vengeful, vindictive, and downright evil, when they want to be worst of all they’re self righteous and have a serious hate on for most of humanity

When they show the cherub doing all the paperwork there is a poster that says “Surround yourself with people who will lift you up, so ditch your loser friends who you can’t use. -God” Heaven in this series seems quite manipulative and also a zero tolerance policy. If you do one thing bad you could be banished forever like the Cherubs were which is very stressful. Hopefully we will get more on what heaven is like, but it kinda looks like the opposite of Hell which is lawless, so i expect that Heaven is full of strict rules and punishments for breaking any of them. Also the ones that banished them seemed to have no sympathy once so ever and were pretty cruel laughing at them while saying no. Also scary that there is no chance for redemption it’s basically you screw up once and your done forever

Prepare for Episode 6, because it will give you NIGHTMARES.

Or maybe charlie will save cherubs and make those imps to destroy

Hm, say, have you ever heard of ERMA? If not, i highly recommend checking it out, it’s quite a interesting tale, with it’s own little charm.

To be fair to the Cherub's they didn't get pissed off until the Imps had actually killed some one, so many people watch this episode and try to condemn for a holier than thou thing, or looking down on the demons, but they'd murdered multiple people already before they get to that point. It's pretty reasonable actually that they were pulling out the weapons. ----------------------- A side note: (depending on how Viziepop's lore for the heiracy of angels and demon works) The real thing to complain about is that they could have done more to protect other people and they were too focused on their target. Cherubim (fairly high up there) are significantly more powerful beings than an Imp which is one of the lowest demons. Those holy crossbows would kill Stolas or the other powerful demons. Their commercial even showed them lifting boulders like nothing. The problem isn't Cleetus accidentally killing the old man, it's the whole audience and singer on stage died, and they should have been more than capable of protecting them.

Oke oke, atleast this time the imps didn´t increase the number of demons who want them death, but as exchange now they have some infra-ngels to join the haters club (regardless if the imp vs everyone never happens, i do want to hear the line "shut up dear furry" again)

So this episode out of all the ones we have currently is my least favorite on personally, and it's not a bad episode it's just the one I feel is good but nothing special, however it is also the episode that gave us Colin one of my favorite non main cast characters and that is mostly because through all the chaos that ensues Colin seems to remain rather innocent, for example out of all 3 cherubs Colin is the only one that doesn't really use any form of bad language through the episode, the worst thing he does is "take the lords name in vain" and then there is of course the amazingness of Vivziepop's acting as Deerie the cherub that just goes "Yeah...no". While this episode is good and fun it's the first episode that didn't leave me thinking about it for days or weeks after seeing it for the first time. And honestly I think it speaks volumes of the show when (in my opinion ofcourse) the least impressive/good episode is the least impressive because it didn't really leave to big of an impact while still managing to be a hilarious and well animated episode. EDIT: On the topic of toxic positivity when used against depression. The amount of times that I was told during the hights of my depression to "just cheer up it gets better" it was almost comical if it hadn't been so frustrating. From the highest highs to the lowest lows I never felt content or anything I was either on top of the world or at rock bottom. Then I got medicated and my life just became this long phase of neutral emotions, neither happy nor sad just a flat line of neutrality. I was personally medicated for 8ish years and stopped last year because I felt that I didn't gain anything about of it and while I do still have periods of feeling down and depressed I also just personally appreciate it when I'm happy now which is about 80% of the time. I know for the majority medication is vital to help stem those really bad thoughts and if medication helps someone then that is awesome.

Also as we've seen, they all know where to find them and apparently Sinners are harder to kill than hellborn demons, so why dont the sinners who were killed by them seek revenge?

This episode is my least liked one tbh, but the upcoming episodes are great. As for toxic positivity, yeah... I've been struggling with depression for a good 10 years, just try to think positively, and such dumb advices don't work indeed.

Probably my least favourite episode because it doesn't progress the characters anymore and it kinda just happens. Definitely a filler episode. The series gets better from here tho with 5 being one of my favourite
