i think this song IS Deftones. hurt, angry, fragile, emotional waves. theyve changed through albums but the essence stays the same. theyve never been criticized for selling out proves that. ive always believed that its never the sound that defines a band or a genre, but its the emotion and the sentiment. growing up listening to Deftones has given me so much in life. good memories, shelter, ideas, comfort, etc. i love this band for life. and youll always be missed Chi.

"It feels good, to know you're mine" is one of my favorite lines of all time, from any song, book, or poem that I've ever encountered. I have the best wife in the entire world and we love each so much and when we heard that line together for the first time, just by luck, we were holding hands. We immediately looked at each other in the eyes and started to cry happy tears. When my wife heard Chino sing that live in person for the first time she balled her eyes out. Now we have kids and we apply that to our kids more than ever. The entire song is absolutely incredible and beautiful and heavy and intense and relaxing, and creative, and way more lol. Love it.

This song will forever transport me back to a time that I miss more than I care to admit. I'm not sure if it was as good as my nostalgia-ridden thoughts perceive it to have been, but I can't deny the feeling that it elicits. It is inextricably connected to a period of my life and all that surrounded it. There's not enough space here to fully encapsulate that time in my life, but needless to say I want to go back. Even just for a few moments. At least this song brings me there in my mind...

It is much more pleasant to watch Carpenter playing a two chords riff along that song than a watching a shredder virtuoso nonsense display.

This song takes me back to when I was 13 years old and listening to this album for the first time. I had never heard a band that sounded like this before. These songs bring back such memories of a better time.

Having grown up mostly in the 10’s, I was introduced to deftones rather late but I remember this was the first song my brother showed me, and I listened to it many times that night and bawling my eyes out. It’s one of those songs I think we all find comfort in, where at one point we all wanted to just get up and drive away to escape our problems. Thanks Deftones for this masterpiece.

such a great example of what makes Stephen a fantastic guitar played, and one of my favorites: he's able to make heavy, catchy, melodic riffs.
Я обещал подарить ему самокат!
