Had a friend who passed away, who used to call me Diamond. Deftones was one of his favorite bands. Wish I could tell you how I felt the day the album Diamond Eyes came out.

The shots where Chino is wearing that red Dillenger Escape Plan tee was at The Hard Rock in Vegas, one of the best experiencs of my life. The whole band gave their all, they were wicked good! Chinos voice was so on point, I had shivers running up and down my spine. I definitely recommend seeing them live (if you can) It can be unforgettable and epic experience! I fucking love Deftones!!

One of the things I love the most about Deftones is the way they divide their own fans, but in a good way. Everyone has a different favourite album and their favourite songs aren't always the singles. Their ability to evolve and change their music constantly means that something they produce at some point taps a nerve and appeals to that person where they're at when they first heard it. For me, the first time I heard Pink Cellphone blew my mind with how creative the music was and it stuck in my head for years. I love their heavy stuff, I love some of their soft stuff, I love some of their aggressive stuff, I love some of their trippy stuff, I love some of their old, I love some of their new. That's a band with staying power. To me they're like the Smashing Pumpkins of alternate metal.

An old girlfriend had me listen to more than just change, my love for deftones didn’t really develop until I listened to a couple songs from team sleep n then I really heard it and the spark happened now there’s no turning back!! I believe sextape is the one that really captured a piece of my soul!!
