I know this is late but it's because it's not a teen nick show. It aired in Canada I think on its family channel or something then teen nick would air it.

@@MelodyXpierce no. At this point when it was promoted as season 10's debut, Teen nick took it over and boosted the production. It became a TeenNick show because they were originally canceled in Canada. Teen nick ended up saving it in season 10.

@@leilahdeb Most people already know that the show was created by Canadians and stars Canadians. That doesn't take away from the fact that it was canceled by the Canadian broadcast company CTV that backed it all the way up until season 9 and then Teen Nick, an American company took over the reigns of the show and served as its continuing production network until it's end. That is why the show dramatically changed in many different ways such as the title rebrand and it's explosion in American popularity.

As a person who watched Degrassi from the beginning with Jimmy, manny, Emma etc this has to be the best season hands down. Wow the nostalgia is crazy I remember seeing this promo and not being able to control my excitement best promo for a show ever! Loved all the characters. +princessk13 While I don't feel this was the best season ever, I feel like this was the best season after all the original characters left, here is where we got introduced to some of the best characters with so many amazing storylines, as a person who didn't live in the states or in Canada I was able to find a way to watch the episodes from my country and this music video was everything. This will always be the best promo of all times.

I agree. I got my Degrassi start with a very young Emma and Manny, but even though I watched them grow up for years, I was still too young to have their plots resonate with me personally. All that changed when Clare and Alli's group became the new focal point of the series. I connected with all of the characters so much more now that I was a teenager alongside them. The Boiling Point (Season 10) I think is hands down the *best* written season arc in both Eli and Clare's budding romance, and the ongoing rivalry between Eli and Fitz. A lot of Degrassi villains have come and gone, but Fitz always remains the most despicable in my mind (yes, Rick shot Jimmy, but it was out of a motive, not just pure evil). There are also some of the best single episode A-plots I've ever seen in the series, most notably Adam's "My Body Is A Cage." Truly devastating stuff. I very much miss the trio of Eli, Adam, and Clare (The Misfits, as the fandom referred to them). Not to mention, this was the first time in Degrassi history where we got a new episode every night Monday - Thursday for the ENTIRE summer. It truly felt big in scale, and that showdown where Eli was nearly stabbed to death and the school was put on lockdown was so tense. And to think this promo hinted at all that and more.

After seeing what all happened between them. With Elis first gf Julia getting killed, to Eli finding cam being dead at Degrassi from suicide, to Adam getting killed, to him and Claire losing their baby. That's the complete symbolism was about from their scene. It gives me chills now.
