It's funny because I feel like Spike was one of the best mothers on the show. She had her flaws but she was a hell of a lot better than most of them, tbh. I don't really judge on screentime.

As someone who was there seasons 1-9, a case can be made for Jimmy, Liberty, Joey being top tier and deserving better writing at the same time. Agree with Marco and Paige with lack of conclusion depth. Jay and Spinner redemption arcs are legendary, arguably top tier. All Emma slander is warranted. No arguments on manny. Sean is definitely deserved better writing. Toby practically had no story. On a side note- even if you feel you’re not right person for that convo about the characters left to side, it’s still valid concern. Holy hell, hazel essentially turned into the next Kendra.

I love Clare too she’s my baby she’s so confident even season 8 because it shouldn’t matter what you wear and when she came out her she’ll she was more than Darcy’s sister and I love that about her she must be protected at all costs because she doesn’t deserve to go through so much traumatic events

I do like Frankie but what she did in next class with that racist drawing just rubbed me the wrong way, and it took her forever to realize it was wrong. So I wouldn’t put her in babies I would die for! In my opinion.

I feel like Craig should be in deserved better, because relationships were always horribly scripted and always made him out to look a certain way. Jane may have had my quickest decline in likability, she was my favorite in season 8-9 with the whole family drama and football storyline but after she cheated on Spinner it was over for her. Jay and Spinner had the best character arc of the whole series. Paige was a classic character for obvious reasons but she always seemed to get in her own way and fuck up everything good in her life, then everything would get better after her fuck ups lol. I hated how Ellie always needed male validation, i’m a guy and even that turns me off to her character. Once the main cast went to college Marco became one of the worst and most irrelevant characters on the show. Sean was the definition of deserved better writing.

I was shocked that someone other than me would die for Esme Song. Such a hot fucking BPD mess and I love her so freaking much.

Girll objectively Eli is pretty toxic from start to finish lol but as a character, he is a 10/10 and he's likable and adorable so that's why we like him. If it was Peter instead of Eli in some storylines, it would have felt a whole lot different lol

I'm rewatching seasons 10-14 and Next Class for only the 2nd time and my opinions have totally changed. I thought Holly J was a C U next tuesday, but now she is my queen (Charlotte Arnold carried that show for several seasons). I now love Dallas and also find him to be so cute. I used to think the Owen and Anya relationship was cute, but he belongs in scum for being a huge misogynist and semi-abusive. He was never really redeemed because he was a turd after Anya graduated. If you're putting Dylan in scum, Owen belongs there too! I have not gotten to Next Class yet, but I'm wondering if my opinion of Esme will change. I really disliked her and found her to be way over the top. I can't imagine her being a baby I would die for. Lastly, justice for every black female on this show. They all deserved so much better!!
