This episode aired over a decade ago. I just wanted to recap Craig's story because it's one that sticks with you.

Craig's Father is so cruel. I think he never got over his Wife Julia leaving him for Joey. It may be some sort of failure on his part. Can you imagine if his colleagues found out. He's lucky that The Popo didn't arrest him but if he did, he'd manipulate Craig into saying it was a mistake, his father didn't see him there right away and then say "If anyone finds out, I'll lose my Job as a Doctor, etc."
@SuperWolsey2 жыл бұрын
More I think about that and the bi polar arc, I can't help but think Albert's own bipolar disorder (even if left oblique) may have played a part in Julia leaving him

@@SuperWolsey Yeah I think his father had some sort of mental problem also unfortunately due to his ignorance he didn't get any help and he lost his wife, his son and life because of it.

Degrassi is such a good show. Even as an adult in my 40s this story line I can watch and find it realistic. There are so many bubblegum teen show. Degrassi stands out.

I actually feel alittle sadness towards his dad at the end. I mean he was going to anger management classes and was trying. You can't just let go of such anger in the snap of the finger. Year's of showing anger takes time to undo.
@elijahtorres26883 жыл бұрын
He definitely needed help for himself and Craig. It was sad that it had to end that way, him getting into a car accident and dying from it after his son disowned him.

@@elijahtorres2688 Yeah i felt bad for him but Craig had every time to do it tho People choose to have kids and your kid isnt a punching bag Have a problem?fix it. Bipolar is a different story tho, u never know when its coming
@elijahtorres26882 жыл бұрын
@@notwerkinginthishouse8634 yeah, physically abusing your own children is NEVER ok. But, Craig’s father needed help sooner, and unfortunately, by then, it was too late. The show definitely covered a very important topic on mental health issues on both children and adults. A child or even an adult going through a mental disorder like depression, bipolar, etc., they should always seek mental help.

@@elijahtorres2688 People who experience traumatic events are at higher risk for developing bipolar disorder. Childhood factors such as sexual or physical abuse, neglect, the death of a parent, or other traumatic events can increase the risk of bipolar disorder later in life.

Even if his dad was trying to get help but still it's not an excuse to hit his son. Once a child abuser, always a child abuser. Don't pity him
