I can definitely see why 'Degrassi' is one of the biggest shows in TV history: this show has some insanely gut-wrenching moments.

Even though Mr. Simpson wasn't exactly happy with Sean you can tell he still cared for Sean and never held this against him. If it was someone else it could have gone in a different direction.

It shows that he's more a man than people give him credit for, b/c only a REAL man would personally choose to not hold a grudge against anyone

The school shooting storyline was one of the saddest of the show yet, had a lot of moments like Hazel sobbing over Jimmy being shot, to Spinner being in his room, feeling responsible about what he had cause, to the likes of Craig, Sean and Ellie watching the news of the shooting, to everyone at Jimmy’s candlelight service.

I still think Rick's motives were just, and he should have at least died thinking he got his revenge.

@@CulannBurke he died because of everyone else taking a understanding grudge towards him too far. If there’s one thing I learned from that storyline is that two wrongs don’t make a right. Yeah I would be pissed too if one of my friends was put in a coma from a abusive partner, but if we do something that’s equally as wrong, that doesn’t make us any better and lead to major consequences, weather the reason is justified or not.

Yes 😢 that was so unnecessary. It scares me to this day. Poor Liberty. She loved JT.

Not including Zoë confronting Luke after her assault, Maya trying to commit sewerslide, or Esme breaking down at graduation is CRIMINAL! No seriously Maya ODing on the roof of the school is one of the few scenes that made me cry out of all the episodes this show had.

@@urbabygirl4993 Zoë and Luke were on TNG, but Maya and Esme’s were on NC. I still consider NC episodes just more seasons of TNG though since it’s the same characters and picks up right where tng left off
