In regards to the green attitude indicator, the intruder had an advanced synthetic terrain system with cueing, that's what that screen is supposed to be. It was shown on the Vertical Display Indicator, or VDI. It was useful for a terrain clearance tool called Search Radar Terrain Clearance (SRTC). SRTC used the A-7A's AN/APQ-92 search radar to generate a synthetic terrain display on the pilot's VDI. It was very cutting edge at the time.

Small correction, in the A-6 the "passenger" as called a Bomber / Navigator, or B/N, and not WSO. For the model itself, not loving the "take your kid to work day" look of the B/N in his seat, he's too low it looks like. Nice review and thank you for sharing!!

I own a few Deimos planes, the first ones I ever bought being the MiG-29 and Felon (enjoyed the Felon a lot actually becsuse it used to be fun as hell to flip around before they nerfed it) and I think their planes have always been alright. Growing up on Ace Combat since elementary school and the closest thing to a decent combat simulator for a console being Over-G Fighters I've got pretty easy going standards for MSFS. Thar being said, I absolutey an here for this A-6. Literally the only real change I'd make is that silly green ball but tbh I could look past it even if they didn't. The exterior model looks amazing and textures are probably one of the best they have done. Lots of good liveries. Like everyone else who's bought it and liked it, I'm a big sucker for some vietnam era carrier jets babyyyy

the vertical refuelling boom gives this off as an early-version A-6. the modern ones had a right-slanted boom

Deimos always does a good job. I'm hoping they'll do the S-3 Viking next.

It looks good. There was a Flight of the Intruder PC game too that I had back in the day developed by Rowan Software and published by Spectrum HoloByte . You could fly Phantoms or Intruders. The right hand seat was a bombardier/navigator or BN aka WSO. He was not a pilot. We of course used quotes from the film about going downtown when playing the game. The screen was like a FLIR camera with other details superimposed in it for night flying

The A-6 served its purpose. She was also useful later as a tanker. Ihr Wert bestand, soweitich ich es beurteilen kann, gerade in Vietnam tief, und bei Nacht im Monsun zu fliegen.
