Russ had a NO TRADE - clause in Seattle, he also had a NO TRADE - clause in Denver cause it was always important for him to be in the driver seat of his career. I would be quite surprised if Russ has no such a language in his Steelers - contract. He knows his value as a player and also the advantage his salary gives his actual team as long the Broncos are paying him. Being traded by the Steelers is NO OPTION in my understanding, if he can't get a fair opportunity to succeed as QB Russ will retire for sure after the season.
