If you keep bringing in yes man i love tomlin. I agree with everything they do. This will never grow every podcast already does this. Then they end up looking dumb trying to defend dumb things.

I would say try to get Ryan Clark on the show but he might be to busy with the big time stuff. I think Ike Taylor or Jaylen Warren would be a good guest.

lol if you guys think Warren is sooooo good, why wasn’t he even drafted? Najee gets in the game……stack the box, Warren gets in the game…….4 man box, plz stop with the Warren is the better back, they didn’t pick up Najee’s 5th year option because they see najee more then a 5th year option

also have to keep in mind these stats were mostly in a matt canada offence which was widely predictable. Wilson and Smith only helps in this situation, excited to see this season.

Funny how those percentages can be fooled by whatever the Coach calls are during that 4th quarter whether 10 plus or NOT it could simply be a Coach's choice of trust.

Another thing as well, we haven't seen a play action pass in like 6 years. With this RB duo, that's going to be a massive boost cause Smith will have those and Russ can perform those well

These stats will only improve this year. The OL will take some time to gel, they are adding 2 new guys, but these stats from last year are with almost zero downfield passing threat. If RW just has his stat line from last year (26 & 8)- think what that does for the running attack. This will be an elite OL- just a matter of staying healthy and developing chemistry.

Great stats Matt. Najee and Warren make a great duo, 2000 yards or more considering new O.C. Take away one, who would fill in the void ? Take away both big question. I can't see it happening, but that don't mean it can't happen. I hope they both stay, because with both the numbers are there. Better O.L. even more so. If asking for too much then that is a problem hopefully can be worked out. Thank you Matt for all you do !!

I love both guys. But I think Najee is getting too much heat for things outside his control. Everyone in the building and at home knows where and when and what direction he's getting the ball. It started to get more dynamic towards the end of the year (shockingly) and he excelled. I think we're in for a huge year from both guys, and I can't wait to see how Smith uses them both. Love the video Matt!

Warren so great but hasn’t proved anything yet. Over 3000 yards in 3 seasons has proved he is the guy with junk Oline play in 3seasons.Harris bust through on goal line Warren not so much.Harris is the man 4.0 yards per carry so what it’s gotten the job done.

Najee is running against stacked boxes, and Warren is usually against lighter boxes and passing defenses.so these numbers will always be skewed towards Warren the reality is we need the both of them!

@losauce521 those fumbles were in bad weather and I believe he corrected the issue. That was probably his first pro action in really bad weather. Gp fumbled. Then went to the sideline and cut off his wet sleeves. Problem was fixed. He'll be fine. I like a little more 30 to start the game and 22 to close it. Break down the d and when they're tired of chasing around 30, a fresher 22 will slug it out with a lead

The problem of looking at the Falcons play calling is that they did not have a quarterback like Wilson or even Fields. I fully expect the team to run the ball more but I don't buy into the play calls from another team since personnel is far different.

Like one viewer said when you run the ball when everyone is expecting it, right up the gut compared to when defenses are not sure if its pass, or run is not a fare comparison . Id argue the Naj is not as athletic as well. Not saying Warren isnt great , uts a win, win in my book to have 2 three down backs is a nice problem to have

Sign both RBs now, especially Warren! These guys are huge assets of our team, not to mention they are both great teammates. I understand if the Steelers have reasons for making Najee play it out…i guess, but Warren??? This guy needs a new 3 year deal now! Top priority! We cannot let him become a free agent. I don’t think the Steelers should try to sign him for $.75. Pay him what he’s worth! IDK…3yr $16 or Maybe even 4yr $22M? Depends on terms and IDK, but why go cheap with this player at this position? I’ll say it again…Warren may be the best back in the league! How do we know? I believe if he had 20+ touches he absolutely is a top 5 back if not THE BEST! This has nothing to do with Najee, who is very good. Warren IS GREAT! He will prove it this year with the new scheme and the improved oline. Mark my words! Great topic Matt. I enjoyed all the statistics. Enjoy the beach!!!

Using the analytics to compare is nasty work.. you could force Kenny to throw to Warren by crowding the LOS and a nice chunk of Warrens touches are on 2nd and 3rd and long.. as opposed to running up the gut on 1st and 10 when everyone in North America knows exactly what you’re doing

I think the combination of Harris and warren is our best threat going forward. Keep them both complimenting each other. With Arthur smith a proven OC the run game will just get better which in turn will open open our passing game and defiothr PA pass.

I’m of the opinion that George Pickens success was because of the guy who ISN’T here anymore. We could’ve gotten by with MORE money just spending it on Mason Rudolph! As opposed to bringing in Wilson and Fields. Pickens will TELL YOU HE WAS HAPPY WITH MASON. Tell me I’m wrong!

Loved this breakdown. It’s easy week in and week out to hate on Coach Mike. We pick at clock management, play calls, and post game tired Tomlinisms after a Loss. We’re privileged since ‘75-76 and therefore incredibly critical. But you’re spot on. Total Alpha Dog. Definitely the right move and you changed my mind. As Red said at his first parole hearing, “I’m a rehabilitated man…” -Ponce

Jaylen fumbles too much to be a feature back and to get paid as one. I dont think of Najee as a top 15 back. Rather I think of him as somewhere in that broad middle from 10 to 25.
