I'm a fan of Tomlin but he CREATED these problems on offense with bad staff & not getting more involved, it was easy to just focus on Defense. Tomlin's OC hires since Haley have been terrible, they killed off BIG BEN & handicapped HIS 1st round draft pick "KP8". I'm very hopeful that this experienced QB room & Arthur Smith can turn this around quickly & get some playoff wins!!!

It's going to be a hard schedule this season. I still can see a really good season, because of Mike Tomlin and the changes he has made. When it comes to the offense, there is more to be seen. How much better have the other teams improved ? Then there is that one team that has that break out season. I hope it is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Have a great vacation Matt. And delusional. Obviously, most of them were not around in the mid 80's. They have no idea what it is to suffer through some bad teams and go through an extended rebuild.

Kenny pickett really struggled against zone statistically. Pickens numbers could potentially rise dramatically with a new qb and new system.

Jesus i have been over the wide receiver nonsense before it started. Get whoever you can, don't spend too much and make sure we are defensively and on the line the strongest team in the nfl. Kill them with physical pressure, WRs are the absolute most overrated and overpaid athletes in sports. Give me o line and running backs. Bring back the half back. Get 4 yards a carry and we are gold

End of career Ben , again. I really don't agree with this narrative. I think the problem was more with the O- line, and offensive scheme. Yes Bens skills diminished, everyones does, and he definitely became less mobil. Not that he was ever a great runner, just elusive a great pocket awareness, and damn near impossible to bring down. I honestly think the dink, and dunk was put in due to terrible pass protection. Show me numbers on this if possible to do so

That must be why his teams have been outscored 0-66 in the 1st Quarter in the last five Playoff games (all losses).

That’s an extension of the regular season…. nearly every opponent this past season scored on their 1st, 2nd or both possessions of each game. Just goes to show who’s prepared and who isn’t.

One thing that baffles me like let's say the offense. It's bad it's been bad. Who hires the oc? Who decides who the qb is? Who decides to spend no money on offense while over paying the defense? That's all tomlin and most of his issues are self inflicted. Nobody wants to admit that though. They just talk about going 8-8 as a great comeback. 😂

The regular season is nothing more than seed positioning for the playoffs. All those stats mean absolutely nothing if the team makes it to the playoffs and lays an egg. They have not been competitive. They partially looked good with Rudolph in the playoffs but then add in the drops, fumbles, and missed tackles. You can't win that way. The non losing seasons stuff is worthless. The best coached teams shine in the playoffs.

If there are 32 teams in the league, how can you say there are only 7 #1 receivers? What you mean to say is that there are probably at least 25 #1 receivers and 7 all star #1 receivers. You are saying it’s the end of the world that we don’t have a legit #2 receiver, and you think 75% of the league doesn’t even have a #1?

I’m of the opinion that George Pickens success was because of the guy who ISN’T here anymore. We could’ve gotten by with MORE money just spending it on Mason Rudolph! As opposed to bringing in Wilson and Fields. Pickens will TELL YOU HE WAS HAPPY WITH MASON. Tell me I’m wrong!

The Steelers sabotaged Ben's final year. Period. All for salary cap after that man went through surgery a extensive rehab to play!! Still got them to the playoffs in his final year. Think about what the Steelers record would have been the last 2 yrs. Come on guys. He was chased out after the for mentioned. + He took a substantial paycut

sure, he always finds ways to win when it matters has not won a playoff game in 7 yrs 3-8 last 11 playoff games dude cant win a playoff game, always gets outcoached when it matters the most
