After Mack (Henry Simmons) finally links back up with Deke (Jeff Ward) since they were both stranded in 1982, he finds that Deke has been busy, setting up a new team for S.H.I.E.L.D. that also happens to party at the Lighthouse. And Coulson (Clark Gregg) is alive! Well, sorta. From 'The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D,' season 7, episode 7 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Coulson has more lives than a cat. I love that we got nerdy Coulson, from Avengers and season one, back this season. The nerdy part of him is so relatable. I still can't get over the fact that he tried the Voight-Kampff Test on the old lady.

@@poppotaku huh. I Haven't thought it that way until now. Also, as a Mirror to Ward, Deke started basically betraying Daisy, but then tried to be as useful for The team as possible. Opposite yo Ward who first tried to be useful but later betrayed them all

He tried to be there for present Director Mack (Even If Mack Saw him as an annoyance), was there for Kid Mack, and was there for The Deke Squad (he didn't Even Saw himself as their leader (Even though they Saw him as their leader); He Saw himself as just one Of them Trying his Best for everyone to get along, hoping Mack could join and be their leader, The leader he could never be) Even when Mack started to insult him, Deke's reaction was Just "Sure hit me with All You got, but don't insult them'

It suddenly occurred to me the other day that Mack's descent into drunkenness in this episode, and his later redemption at the story's end, parallel's Thor's drunkenness and redemption in the _Endgame_ movie. Meanwhile, the finale episode of the series reveals that Fitz saw multiple alternate futures by consulting the "Time Stream" just like Doctor Strange saw multiple alternate futures by consulting the "Time Stone" in _Infinity Wars_ and that, in both cases, they saw only one outcome where the heroes won. Makes ya think, doesn't it?

@@pokejourneys8919 Yeah there's a small chance that Hive will die on Maveth if Nathaniel isn't delivered. At the least, if Hive doesn't absorb Nathaniel's mind into his own, he won't have any grudge against Gideon, and Gideon turning on Hive was instrumental in bringing him down. If Nathaniel isn't handed over, the population of Europe could be turned into primitive inhumans.

@@christianschoff2490 The robot design is closest to the ones in Chopping Mall, the red eye going back and forth is the Cylons from the original BSG, including the sound you hear, and the Dalek part is where one of them shouts "Exterminate!" in the lighthouse.

well..if the show folds back to main continuity i can see daisy replacing nick fury somtimes in the future. fury is ..old and he aint getting any younger as well as Sam Jackson. its perfect solution for future MCU.. at this point team zephyr is the most expirienced people nick fury can have for sword..they have done like ..everything..dealt with mistical being other dimensions aliens ..been time traveling and space traveling. you name it they ve done it.

People that don't watch the show won't need to know who she is beyond she is a Shield/Sword agent and those that do can see more crossover. Not really any downsides and it opens up some good opportunities.
