Driving from Delémont along the Birs River and trough the «Rock Valley» (Laufental) to the Basel Region. Enjoy a road trip through the hilly landscape of the Jura Mountains in northwestern Switzerland.
Delémont (German: Delsberg) is the capital of the canton of Jura. The city has about 12,000 inhabitants.
Basel is located in the northwest of Switzerland on the Rhine River on the border with France and Germany. With about 175,000 inhabitants, Basel is the third largest city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva.
