In this last episode of Ahmedabad Food Tour, Piyush and I went on a full on street food tour in the walled city trying the authentic Gujrati breakfast at Chandravilas, moving on to the lane of sweet makers and ending with gujarati snacks- khaman and Panki.
The food journey in Ahmedabad ended with a huge Vegetarian Gujarati thali at Vishala.

Thank you for showing Chandravillas. One of the oldest restaurants in ahmedabad started by my great grandfather. The restaurant got disrupted after 2002 riots and lost it major chunk and even there was a lodge which got totally vanished. Someone was complaining regarding the taste I agree that there's a change in taste as you lost the staff who was expert in making delicacy and it's tough time to find there replacement. But still We are our trying best. Well, indeed chandravillas is a legacy left behind by our forefathers we will try our best to keep that legacy alive.

Apne piyush bhai ke saath sirf cheese & butter hi khaya hai.....vo guajrati street food nahi hai.... Apne authentic gujarati dishes hi miss kar di hai....like Dabeli, khandavi,sev khamani,ful vadi,methi muthiya,dudhi muthiya,cholafali,dal dhokli,navtad samosa,shrikhand,basundi,idada,live dhokla,gujarati dal,bajra vada,makai vada,undhiyu....etc....

I have loved your videos and i am a local from Ahmedabad. and i do notice that many of the top spots you didnt get a chance to visit. i would suggest next visit to the city, be in touch with foodaholics of ahmedabad on fb and Rohan Bhatt would be a right guy to take you around the city for the best spots.

The tea maker wiped his sweat with his towel, then he used his bare hands to add tea seeds into the boiling milk and finally he used the same towel to lift the vessel. No wonder the tea tasted nice 😋

Gujarati thali has Appetizers ( Farsan), Side dish like Papad, Pickle and Salad, Main Course ( Roti, Rice and Veg Curries), and Desserts ( sweet dishes) all in one plate.

You missed authentic Gujarati food in like pakwan, thakar thal etc but good for vishala and khetlapa is not everywhere like he said every 2.5 km not fact that
