I somehow never thought to look up if there are hacks of the TCG game. That's really cool! All those card sprites must have taken ages to make.

It's not Christmas without Paraspectre's Christmas special! I don't know what I love more, the fact that TCG Neo Stantler notices that you've stepped in something or Delibird being 5 white Russians deep into it's delivery route. What a lovely Christmas this is shaping up to be.

This was a really cool video idea, I didn't even know this romhack existed. I was actually thinking about how much I wished there was a TCG game that had the Neo cards a few days ago. That said, it is kind of a drag that they mostly just made up new cards inspired by the Neo sets instead of including the actual cards, especially since most of them wouldn't have really taxed the programming of the Game Boy Color or anything

this really feels like it came out of nowhere... there was like one guy with a tcg gb mod tool for like 5- 6 years and that was it. awesome

This game looks so fun! I love the little changes and hope to see more, and in hopes of no one else saying this. The Crystal cards are special gimmick ones meant to change typing with each new energy type put down to counter for weakness, playing into this all with odd multicolor attack costs. They, kinda sucked irl but in this game majorly buffed it seemed to make them playable! And with this in mind, ever thought of a solo Kingdra run? It is quite a unique and fun pokemon.

Awesome Christmas present for me, because I’m a huge fan of the TCG for Gameboy and Gen 2 TCG and I didn’t know this ROM hack existed until now. Now I know what RPG I’m starting next.

This is awesome. Been following the Rom's creation on pokemon community since 1.02 and it has honestly come a long way. I know the creator is working on version 1.3 which will bring balance changes and some new "attacks". So here is hoping they keep working on this rom as the future for it looks even brighter now.

The worst thing about this is that it's based on the first game. Which is not to downplay the amount of work that had to have gone into making it! I guess, I kinda hoped that there'd be a new story as well.

I can't say I was a fan of this game, not enough Matthew for me. And of course, it's insane they didn't put any Parasects in there either. That Delibird card in the actual game is kind of nuts, though, because it'll probably keep healing your opponent. There's one to do a challenge with.

I’ve been recently following the channel. These TCG videos are amazing to watch.

This ROM hack is cool, but I do wish the cards were the same as their real-life counterparts, instead of being re-balanced. Amazing work on recreating the card art though. Also, I like how the Grand Masters use Crystal Pokemon, cause IRL Crystal Pokemon are terrible. Despite having an interesting mechanic tied to them, and the cards going for a lot these days, they were never competitive.

As a kid I always thought Stantler was a Normal-Psychic type and Delibird a Normal-flying type.

I think Stantler is OK, he needs 2 cards to start attacking

The original game (and its sequel) was my autistic hyperfocus for over a year and I memorized every card in it. How did I not know there was a ROMhack?

I don't know any/much of the cards that would be in this game, but do a P.A.R.A.S.P.E.C.T.R.E challenge in that you only use Pokemon that start with P.A.R.S.E.C.T idk it's an idea

Edit: Should have watched some more, you started to narrate the battles like usual. P.S. Nice live action gags and the name you have is the best, as paras in Finnish means "the best".

I'm pretty sure that's only what the modern Ace Spec Master Ball does... not the original one that was just look at the top 7 and that's not what the Professor Elm card did... I'd much rather play a version of the rom hack that uses exactly what the cards do
