Resistance should have been -10. Having a weakness and hitting for double damage is fun. Not being able to do any damage is not fun. -10 in those old formats is already very strong. Knowing old decks typically run 2 to 4 pluspowers to increase damage by 10 for 1 turn. You know it is powerful. Now imagine -30 permanently. It slows down games and that is something this format doesn’t want. That and : Super Energy removal should be banned or never have existed. Having regular Energy removal is a necessity in the base-fossil format, as it is 1 of the only ways to interact with your opponent, and it makes double colorless energy less oppressive. But having both cards in the format, effectively allowing you to run 6-8 copies can really grind a game to a halt. Resulting in “whoever draws the first professor Oak wins”. And that is also something it wants to avoid. Other than that I think old sets are perfect.

N64 version was awesome. Playing the Ps1 game after was interesting to see the differences. Goldeneye is still the GOAT Bond game tho.

Still imagine, that they made a small boring looking town still interesting, telling a story. As a kid I wanted to know more about the journals, I was invested and thought there is more to explore. There wasn't of course but still, there was dedication. In our first playthrough, we did not know what to expect. We had big dungeons before like silph co. It was disappointing though to realize at some point that there was not more in the building. In the end it was just good story telling, making the best of the limitations of the time. Games were different back then without the internet.

a lot of wrong opinions in this video and wrong info, like saying haymaker was just a buzz, champ, scyther deck when people would have variants with magmar, wigglytuff and doduo before scyther was printed, black star mewtwo. Saying chansey was less good than dragonair is silly, when chansey was a great stall mon and great in damage swap decks. Arcanine decks were a non-meta budget deck and would win against non-rain dance decks sometimes with big takedowns as that 80 ko's any haymaker mon. Charizard ties for highest hp with chansey in base set. Vensaur was a bench sitter and the engine for venacenter decks. Buzzap electrode was used just for it's ability to then power up a zapdos for very early wins, with 1 pokemon power it's thunder will ko any haymaker and the deck would run a defenders too. alakazam was the engine for damage swap and was just a bench sitter, would be ran in decks even without psy energy. Base set raindance was a deck but wasn't reliable until articuno was added as you have very weak stage 1's with magikarp and squirtle, with blastoids playing a bench sitter position, which would come out if it had too. Bill is better than gust of wind on average. Energy removal is good in stall decks, not in all decks. Energy retrieval should be higher, and is an auto include in almost any deck as you want to get back energy from your ko'd mons or cycled away from oaks or spent for a search or item finder later. Same with pokemon center should be higher as it was a key piece in venacenter decks and damage swap decks. Lass is up there as an agro card as one of the best cards as being able to shut down your opponent turn 1 will just win games as you can burn your trainers first.

The 151's parasects Spread filaments is stronger than call for friends, it can get evolved pokemon, ie stage 2s, v-maxes, v-stars, mega evolutions, and of course most importantly, more parasects.

DMC1 only got released for PS2 on 2001

The HD Remaster of this game was my first RE game. That first play through was an incredible experience. My biggest regret was that I already knew Barry was supposed to be a good guy, so I knew he wasn’t the traitor. Unlike the OG RE1, this game does portray Barry as a possible suspect, like when he leaves your for dead in the caves. Oh, how I envy anyone who got to go into this game 100% blind!

The only remake that surpassed the original. RE2, 3, and 4 were all soulless turds that's just more dark minus 50% contents and fun.

RE4 on GameCube is probably my favorite RE to this day, but RE1 Remake 2002 is awesome too. Wish it sold better and we got actual remakes for RE2 and especially RE3 Nemesis like RE1 Remake back then. At least the GameCube ports of RE2 and RE3 Nemesis are pretty good. Shame GameCube didn't get ports for Dino Crisis 1&2.

Um minor correction. Devil may cry never came out on the gamecube or the original xbox, it was a ps2 exclusive

You _would_ like Blaizeken Blaizeken started the trend of furry starters. Starter pokemon who evolve to look _exactly_ like a person wearing a suit. Its out of control! That grass kitty from Paldea, who evolves into a dirty furry, it broke my heart. I wanted a giant, leaf cat so bad. I blame blaizeken for all of it! Blaizeken was so popular, the pokemon execs went "wow, kids really love these stupid, furry-looking pokemon, who are basically just a person in a costume, clucking like a chicken. We need to have _way_ more of these. Anthropomorphic starter pokemon in every generation!" We need a cleansing fire 🔥 😫

First game I bought for the GameCube. It really set the tone for what remakes should be going forward, not just for Resident Evil but every game remake.

This was my first Resident Evil game and honestly the game that set my personal benchmark for what a remake should me. Never really got into survival horror games because I just couldn't get accustomed to traditional tank controls, but the Type C option in REmake was a huge game changer for me.

Mewtwo still has some of the coolest lore in all of Pokemon. The fact that it's not even part of the main story, but it still has so much buildup really inspires awe in you. Everything about the atmosphere at the burned down mansion tells you that something ugly happened here...
