I have missed making fan videos! I am so glad to be back! LOL. This vid is about John and Margaret, from the 2004 miniseries North and South. Starring Richard Armitage and Daniela Denby-Ashe.

Richard Armitage played character Thornton so perfectly, as if he really was him and felt what Thornton felt. Amazing actor !

In an interview, Armitage later said the carriage driving away scene (“Look back! Look back at me!”) was easy to play because he could feel the awful heartbreak and abandonment so strongly.

What is so amazing is that Thorton is he looks so much younger at the end of the series, than at the beginning. as if shedding the burdens, etc.

Этот фильм сам по себе шедевр. Он сильнее книги. Сценарий, драматургия, операторская работа, актёрская подача.... Удивительно точный подбор актёров. Ну, а главные герои нас полностью захватывают. Замечательный фильм.

Paula B The series could have benefitted from at least one more episode at the end - I felt a bit hung out to dry not seeing them arrive home, etc. the shots in the train were lovely and evocative but just one more episode would have brought it all home! oh well.

Richard Armitage has sex eyes. I don't mean to sound crude, or anything, it's just the truth! So good-looking. One deep, steely look from him, and I'd be limp on the floor. O_O' Great vid; I love how Richard is able to convey emotion with just a look. He is truly a talented actor; I wish we saw him more often!

I like the movie scenes in this video, but I don't like the choice of music. Modern music does not really suit period romances, especially if set in 18 or 19 century. It just feels odd. Some instrumental piano music would be much better, I think.
