@@PaintSplashProductions yeah thats fair. I would go with alligator meat since thats arguably the closest we have to dragon. But i couldnt imagine how much that costs or how hard it is to track down outside of Florida

コイン虫せんべい、焼いた後にコイン柄にしたい方だけ飴かグミかを付けてそれっぽいシーリングスタンプで跡つけて固めたら形も出て光沢も出るかもとふと思いました。

For the coins, i would have prefered if you used actual bugs. Like you could buy chocolate coins and carefully take off the foil to use as a mould. Then fill it with cooked meal worms (you can eat those) and then maybe pour in caramel or treacle or something. Then when its hardened take the foil off

I have a suggestion for the jewel bugs. You could use agar agar to make the jewels and leave them to dry to make crystals. Otherwise i loved this video and the process is very satisfying ❤

Also for the coin I think using a stamp would be a good idea, it reminds of a type of pasta called corzetti its coin shaped and uses a stamp to give it a face and back of a coin

If you use agar agar powder instead of gelatin they harden like crystals but are gel inside.

I wonder what the texture is like for these in the actual manga. The jelly seems like it'd have a somewhat crunchy consistency, like if you put rock candy in jelly. The centipedes definitely feel like tapioca but I could also think it's mochi if the grilling is to be believed.
