My husband gave me the best compliment ever when he told me that my Green Chili tasted like my mom's! I call it Sundown Smokin' Green Chili after my mom who served this recipe to us often at our Sundown Ranch. So Delicious, so Easy, with just a few ingredients - it will quickly become a family favorite. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
4-5 pounds Corse Ground Lean Pork
Onion
2-3 Heaping TBS flour
Green Chili
Garlic Salt to taste
Place meat in pot, stirring occasionally on medium to high heat, and cook until meat turns white and a little liquid forms. Add the Diced onion to the pot and heat till the onion is hot. Add Garlic Salt to taste. Add flour and mix - this will soak up the liquid. Cover the entire mixture with water and bring to a boil - turn it down to a simmer.
Simmer for 2 hours
Add Green Chili and simmer for 30 more minutes.
Add more garlic salt to taste (I always need a lot more)
