I like to think that their toilet paper is so expensive because it's an endless roll... do you ever see them replace it? 😜This means it is actually quite an amazing price.

HA! The toilet paper roll being expensive. Just remember it's a lifetime supply! haha I love those hanging plants too! The Buildem block table says toddlers only but it's actually for kids, teens and adults! Once it's completed toddlers can play with it. You did great! Love the reno!

I love renovations of EA builds, and I think you should try and keep them the same value! Deli, just so you know, when there isn't a sim in the lot, the items don't actually sell for less when you delete them!

Love the house reno! Plus keeping the same lot value is perfect for keeping it the intended low budget home whilst the reno makes it so much nicer.

I think doing a mix of not adding funds and then adding funds for a few of them would be a cool idea just to have a few upgraded. I do love the same budget builds though! I've loved these past two.

Considering you've been playing The Sims for as long as you have, I'd say, go with whatever you want to do! I love watching your videos no matter what you choose to do with your game. Keep it fun for yourself so you don't get too burnt out! 🧡

I'm really enjoying this! You should redo all the Willow Creek homes with no extra budget and maybe even makeover the base game sims in the houses! Give it all a little refresh.

I definitely love keeping the value of the house. I really love what you did with this one too. I personally think you should upgrade the lower income house(like some of the 19k ones) in the base world so if someone who only has base game can still download them and play and they won't be crazy expensive if your sim doesn't have a lot of money.

I love the idea of renovating townie homes, this way you can have fun while decorating the house according to their personalities! That will also give you a different budget everytime you select a different family. Loved the video, thank you Deli! ❤️

I’ve always thought Willow Creek was heavily inspired by New Orleans! Those kind of odd looking double roof peaks at the front of the house are very common here and usually have a front door under each of them (sometimes for two separate units, but often both leading into a single family home called a converted double shotgun). They’re usually on little bungalows like this and I think it looked so nice once you had made the roof line a little cleaner but still had them there! I love how cheerful and colorful the build came out!

I think probably for the majority of the builds staying in the price range is good but if you wanted to go all out on a couple that would be cool too:)

I think that for houses with existing families in them keep the same value but for empty houses do a mix so if we were to download them we can have our sims work up to higher price and also have some more achievable ones.

You should definitely keep this going as a mini series! And I think you did sooo well with this renovation, your building and decorating skills have come so far!

I love fixed EA builds that I can take from the gallery and place with no money issues. I do that all the time and when great KZfaqrs do it, it just saves me work. Hahahaha

I’d like to see an extravagant mansion house with all the trappings, butlers quarters, movie room, pool, sauna, library, children’s den, basketball court, underground bowling alley, breakfast dining, formal dining, outdoor dining, family seating area, formal seating area, entrance, master suit with ensuite and walk in robe and privet balcony, etc etc with cc and sims 4 packs, usable, fun to play in, modern furnishings…… I know that’s a lot but it’s just an idea. Take from it what you will if you like. I’d just love to see it, download it and play in it as I always play in your builds. No limits for money or time or videos uploaded. I really liked this build and I love your videos thanks so much for the time

I say keep within the budget of the original home. ☺ also as much as I loved the inside of this house, I was sad that the landscaping was a bit forgotten. 😅 The landscaping in the last build for Johnny Zest was so good. Overall though I like the idea of keeping the original shape of the homes and using its original budget, just updating them. 10/10

Just so you know, Deli, the block table isn't for toddlers only. It;s been mislabeled for a long time. Toddlers can only play with it AFTER an adult or child has built something on the table.

Loving these! I’m on the side of keeping it same budget but maybe allowing a small fund for extras, say nothing more than 5k but only used as last resort

I turned that house into a vet clinic in one of my saves. I renovated it with four clinic rooms, 3 bathrooms and a patient waiting room. Had to add a second floor. I kept the hideous color outside. It turned out well lol. ☺️

Technically, in many regions, having a bathroom entrance so close to a food prep area is a building violation. Given the floor plan and space, maybe going for the one option you mentioned of having kitchen and dinning flanking the front door entry would have been a good way to get more living space and better bedroom/bathroom access, particularly if you didn't do the extension.

I think you should keep all vacant houses the same budget, but pick and choose if you want to add to one that’s occupied. But to keep it a challenge, you have to decide if you want to add a budget before you start renovating it and make it a realistic budget that that family might be able to have 😁

I think you should keep the same value but also only using the pack that comes with the world, and if it's a base game world we'll only using base game items too. Good luck I love your renovation build

I think for starter homes keeping the same value is better so that they stay starter homes - but for some of the bigger non-starter houses that are a little empty, I would like what I call a “Kaching” Reno - basically you have 1,000 extra simoleons (the amount you get from the kaching cheat). That way it’s not so much more that it creeps into unaffordable territory plus it’s still a challenge to Reno within a budget, but it let’s you do things like add a pool (base game houses don’t have them because they weren’t originally in the game and they are pricey to add without removing whole chunks of the house if you are doing a no budget challenge).

I definitely think this kind of keep the same value one is the best. As opposed to like, selling all the items and using that as a budget because I feel like they lose too much value especially because there's never much there to begin with!

I was laughing when she didn't want a bedroom off the kitchen but put it so that the bathroom opened into the kitchen. In the US, that would be considered a "functional obsolescence" because it's considered "gross" to have the bathroom opening into the kitchen. It really drops the worth of the house!

Oh I just had an idea that would be a total challenge for you girl! Renovate a base game house using only base game items. (no budget) I don't think you lose money when you're just in build mode.

Adults can use the block/lego table. They can build for fun and the toddlers play with what the parents built. I think teens and children can build too.

Another nice renovation. I like that you keep the budget and original price. But to add a bit of challenge you could make some rules. You're allowed to a 10000 (or more) simoleon more on the budget but you can only use three pack. (1GP 1EP 1SP) 😁 Meaning you have the options. The challenge would be that you can have more money but there is a penalty.

I’d love to see you renovate a different world other than the base game worlds because I feel everyone renovates those. And as your using all packs it doesn’t matter! Plus people can place the lots anywhere even if they didn’t have the world the lot originally came in.

I love this idea of keeping the original lot value. I think it would be easier witht he base game homes but become harder with further expansions where simple basics got cheaper over time.
