Delivering 620 packages to an Amazon Hub in South Philly today. This hub is located at Graduate Hospital on South Street.

Nice video. Im doing my second day of training tomorrow. Im the only girl in the class so im just like where the females at? Haha! Hopefully ill be able to do 300+ packages by christmas bc they have already told us that is what will be required during Christmas. They are super blunt and honest at WTN1. I think ill make it. 😊 plus the overtime will be killer!!! Thats where the money is at. Thanks for the inspo!!!

That's how it is when i deliver to the college. I had to sort everything and use 3 bins. one for my envelops, 1 for boxes and the last for OV. No rescue? you're lucky. My DSP would've text you while you're scanning your last package to go do a rescue.

How long have you been doing this now?… love your videos by the way… I start in a week and I’m abit nervous since I’m starting pretty much peak season… but I am curious can you start asap to get your DOT certification right away after like a week of driving the vans and upgrade to the step vans?… is it easier to work in the step van or is it just as much work like in the sprinter vans? Were you also a bit scared driving the step van at first and how long did it take you to get use to driving it?

Starting during peak season...it will get busy, but don't let that intimidate you. You got this! So it really all depends on the DSP whether or not they need more Step Van drivers. I would right away tell them that you're interested in getting certified, and I don't think you'll have a problem. When I first started driving the SV, it took me a while to get fully comfortable, but on my first actual day, I got the hang of it after a half hour, if that makes sense. Thank you for watching!

How many totes was that holy crap? Just hit my record for packages at 430 on Black Friday plus I did a rescue and took 65 packages so really I delivered almost 500

It was like 40 45 totes if I remember correctly lol...wait maybe not that many...but it was a lot

Do you wear any hearing protection while driving step van. I don't know if it is just me, but I feel like step vans are like metal drum, they are so loud. Thanks

When I first started in a step, I sometimes put my earbud in to help. But in time, you get used to it.

So everything in each tote bag was scanned then sorted into the bag, then you have to dump the bag to rescan everything then resort the bag again. This seems very inefficient

No that's just the way I did it but you can unload the truck and then scan the bags as you're sorting
