I had no problem getting my battery disconnected, but I could not reconnect the battery. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, not sure I quite understand? There is no CMOS jumper, but you can pop out the CMOS battery.

Hi thanks for your reply i took the battery out for 25 mins and when i put her back together she displayed a black screen. When i hard restarted it it asked for the password again so i had to call dell customer support took care of it after 30 min on the phone with them but thanks for your response anyway as you really didint have to reply but the cmos battery reset doesn't work with these models i dont think

I believe there is a larger battery fitted in some markets, but here in the UK we get this 3-cell battery.

Check you have the correct wattage charger and the DC jack isn't damaged.

Usually charger goes out about same time as battery

I dont know it has very bad battery, It’s worst . Fails within 3 months

That plug into the battery does not gently come out. If I pull on it at all the wires become exposed. It's not an old or corroded battery I'm trouble shooting something.

Pull the little lugs on the edge of the plug, not the wires.

@@BrueComputing would have if those existed. There's some small very very small solid plastic right up against the battery but I have pretty small hands and it's too small even for me to grab onto. May not even be the solution I need... Just trying random stuff at this point. Screen won't come on, but HDMI into the tv doesn't show a screen either so I'm thinking it's a software issue but idk. Any tips?
