Hi, good job ! Do the newer versions of Dell Inspiron allow the RAM and HD/SSD to swapped out as easily ? If so, we need to give KUDOS to Dell for making their laptops easy to upgrade. Other videos show having to remove the whole back panel to get at anything ( which can be difficult and time consuming ). Thanks :)

So I wanted to add an ssd drive into this laptop that I have but the hard drive connector that attached to the mother board the prong on them are broke would this involve me having to get a new motherboard to do this because it will not recognize the hard drive no more I’ve been having problems with that and it’s never been a problem in the pass but now it stop reading my hard drive

But one doubt , how to install windows 10 in SSD and also remove the windows 11 from HDD without formating the HDD , since I dont have backup. Can you & @ShriramDRamani please recommend what to do if my battery will not keep charging when a new charger is plugged in and the battery light goes on for approx. 1 second then immediately goes off? My Dell Inspiron 15 froze during an error message that my laptop had to be shut down. Thus, I took off the bottom cover and disconnected the battery. A friend reformatted the SSD HD so I reattached it to reinstall Win10 again. Is there a way to find my former license number so I do not have to buy when I already own Win 10 but may have lost it when the laptop crashed? How much would it cost to fix this would you estimate?

i got a seagate HDD, its 7mm with a 5400 rpm for my 5559. hope this is good HDD for my laptop since my original disk was very old and had disk errors up the wazoo even after several clean resets
