That's so awesome..m it's very very simple it's just that you need to have a few tools and patience to do it right. And just adding a SSD and installing the windows in it will make a huge difference to your laptop performance. I will sure make some videos in English as well

i recently upgraded my hdd into samsung evo ssd on my dell inpiron 15 5559 , and to be honest I feel stupid for not having done this before .My laptop was already loaded with 8gb RAM,it boots lighting fast (which was a huge issue for me reconnecting to online games when I dropped out &took ages to reconnect) , apps run very well (which it didnt),I used to dread using resolve to edit my videos because it was so slow .Feels like a breeze and honestly feels like a new computer now .Thanks for your video it was really helpful .

thanks! i have decided to use the 250GB SSD that i ordered for windows file, and the 1 TB HDD for data storage. SSD i will install on HDD port because it is SATA III and the HDD i will install using caddy on CD drive because that is SATA II port. this is plan after my research. am i doing everything correctly?

What happened to the hard disk partitions like D,E,F drives. Will they collapse into one??

hi friend, yes you will have to install them again. if you will not then all gmaes programs will boot from HDD which is slow, then whats the point of upgrade. SSD will just act as fast storage. You can clone the OS from HDD to SSD and then delete the HDD partition. or you need to fresh install all the OS and programs

Yes you can use any SSD upto 2tb and also ram you can upgrade upto 16gb. Get a crucial if you want value for money. Get samsung if you want top notch performance and money isnnot the issue. Links below the video

I don't think so it does not support nvme SSD as far as I know. You can check the crucial website and check if it support it will suggest . Links are below video if you want to buy SSD

Hi friend, yes if you place the hdd is cd drive it will boot from old hdd only. To enjoy the SSD benifits you need to install the fresh os or clone the os from hdd to SSD. After that you need to change the boot priority in bios. Make SSD first priority and hdd second. Once done you can delete the os from hdd to save space. You can have a look at my cloning videos. No it does not have m.2 slot you can install 2.5 inch SSD and ram. Also you can install the cd drive caddy for using your old hdd. Thats it. Links to good SSD and rams are provided below the video. no , not at all... ur prvious data will be untoched .. aapne bas nayi ssd laga li usme OS install karo .. bas HDD purani waali mein mat karna fir data udd jayega .. purani waali hdd sambhal lo and u can use it as external hardsk using case ya fir cd drive slot mein use kar lo jaise bataya hai vido mein

Does the Caddy have any issue of speed transfer...does it lower the speed...many users in the review on Amazon have complained that bcoz of caddy the transfer speed is reduced and takes a lot of time

its mostly not as all SATA ports have smae speed... but if you are really concerned you can install the SSD b swapping the HDD and insert the HDD in the CD drive caddy. May be people also report this because now they are comparing the HDD speed to the SSD which will look slow for sure.

Nice and easy installation guide. I also have DELL 5559 laptop and it came with OEM WINDOWS 10 HOME and I am willing to replace HDD with SSD. so when i will install SSD, how to install windows and will it get activated or i need to do cloning?

the best is to replace HDD with SSD and then install HDD to CD drive and take put CD drive have shown in the video. If you want to keep the CD then you will have to install fresh windows. cloning will be possible if both the HDD and SSD are connected at the same time.

When I add 2nd ram, no display. Power led lit and off slowly. No beep too. This keep repeating. Any idea on the problem

remove the new RAM and see if the problem goes away... if yes then there can be two reasons, RAM Not properly installed or seated second RAM is not compatible. or the ram is faulty

Hi, I am also having the same laptop, I have taken 8GB samsung RAM, which is installed. And Seagate Barracuda SSD 240gb, but when i am inserting the SSD in place of HDD it is not detecting, and also tried to fix in caddy, even there also not detecting. But when connected using HDD encloser, it is connected but not able to install windows through that. Please suggest what will be the problem..

sriram , what you can do is after installing the SSD, go to create and format disk partition there you can see the disk, sometimes you need to format it to initialize, once done it will show and hen you can install windows

I bought the caddy and inserted the newly bought SSD but after replacing it with CD/ROM in the Dell Inspiron 558 it's not able to detect. I again replaced it back to CD/ROM and what I see is that it is also not able to detect. Please help me how can I fix this issue?

Aap screen mat karo change... Kharcha hai 3500 rupaye ka and uski screen bhi HD resolution hogi... Haan kissi bhi company ke daalo .. bas ram ki speed jo aapki abhi hai ussi same speed ki ram le lena it will work

I bought new ssd for my old laptop and I’m keeping both hdd and ssd removing my CD drive. Now where should i put my ssd? In cd drive or in hdd Place? Would i get my SSD’s full speed in CD drive? Or should i put it in hdd drive’ place as it seems internal and primary? Would it make any difference? Please reply asap.

Keep it where ever you want... Because in general both are sata ports and offer the same speed. So to keep it simple just pop out the cd and insert the SSD in caddy. That way it will be easier to clone as well. Hope u have seen how to clone video as well . Thanks

@@light_sky One of the laptop service center said that due to caddy the motherboards are getting damaged and he informed us to use hdd as external drive instead putting it in place of DVD, he mentioned he came across multiple instances of this kind of motherboard failure issues.

I have Dell 5559 touch laptop the problem is touch screen not working properly, sometimes it working sometimes it's not when I move the screen little bit front and back touch enabled and working after I close the laptop and open again touch is not working I think it's loose connection or what do you think please tell me about this!

Sir it is 100 percent loose connection issue. You can get it checked from any good technician and it will be fine

First Swap hdd with SSD or just install SSD in the cd drive slot and clone the OS boot from SSD. Yes 4gb is less u need 8gb these days. This will have sata ssd not m.2 SSD as I had the same laptop. Plus ddr3l ram I have given links for all below.

Speed will be same even if you buy 2tb... Os and other programs take around 150gb or so.. rest now u decide how much local data you want to have them decide .. recommend SSD links are mentioned below the video. Crucial wd and samsung are good

It might be heating issue with your laptop.. try cleaning the vents with pressureized air and after that update the drivers using windows update... This should help. If it still restarts if you can try replace thermal paste on your cpu

Hi yes u can...only the drive that has the os gets erased.. you can copy ur documents and downloads or desktop items before starting the operation. Also don't worry about sata 2 sata 3 in a laptops all ports would be same

@@siddhantjaiswal7778 dont worry its the same i have checked at the latop documentation and support website... all u need is a CD drive caddy .. so that you can takeout the CD drive and put your existing 2TB HDD there. Then install the new SSD in the HDD place. Boot from HDD and then run Samsung software or the macrium reflect.

HI no i dont think so it has because my 5559 which is a newer model than 5558 does not have it .. you can get a CRUCIAL/SAMSUNG SATA SSD. they are cheaper and will do good. thanks anyways you can log on to crucial website and get you PC scanned with there tool and they will recommend the RAM/ SSD based on system configuration.

Brother you can it's a very easy process you don't event need a screw driver for that but I would say not to do it... First the spare part that is the screen is costly and they have pin configurations 30 pin or 40 pin and then hd and fhd resolutions. Also laptops screens in general are not good for image processing. I would suggest you to buy a decent value for money monitor and use it when doing such work. Thanks hope it helps and will save you from unnecessary hassle of replacing the screen

Yes into the new SSD otherwise your old OS which is hdd will still be slow and load programs slowly so to take full benefits install a fresh OS into SSD or clone your hdd to SSD I have a separate video on cloning as well. Thanks

Akash agar 8gb ram hai and 2 slot hai to i guess 4 +4 hoga... And agar badhani hai ram to u can do 4 + 8 or 8 + 8 but good if you keep it same 4 4 or 8 8 in this they will run in dual channel modem 8gb ram is enough. U can get crucial ram and SSD they are value for money or samsung wd are good brands.. for charging issue i think u can uodate all the drivers and that should do if not may be battery is dead

koi baat nahin.. ho jaata hai theek se nahin laga hoga .. ek baar slot exchange karke dekh lo .. and fir try kar lo .. agar fir bhi na ho to aap wapas kar sakte ho... RAM mein kaafi baar issue aa jaata hai match nahin hoti ek doosre se to.... nayi waali ko bhi akele laga ke dekhna ... agar alag alag chal rahi hai akele akle to incompatability kla issue hai.. and saath chal padti hain to samjh lena heek se lagi nahin hogi

Dost please visit crucial website and scan your pc laptop using there tool. It will let you know the type of SSD you can install. Mostly it will be normal 2.5 inch SSD and not the M.2

@@samvedgangan3588 Just do one thing... first intsall the SSD simple... the with the help of a cloning software like Macrium reflect clone the HDD to SSD. I hope link of the cloning software is in the discription. I have a video on cloning as well. After cloning all you need to do is just change the boot options in BIOS to the NEW SSD and once it boots perfectly you can format the HDD> this way you will not loose a single progem. thanks

Yes pranay .. you can do that too.. infact that's more easy and will serve the same purpose. it's just that I wanted to show people what all can be done .. just make sure you clone the OS to the new SSD installed and in bios change the boot order. I have one of my latest videos in windows clone. You can have a look at that.

Hi manish .. go to crucial website and they will scan your system with online tool and suggest the RAM and SSD you can install.. I dont think your will support DDR4 it will support DDR3 only. Even if you buy DDR4 it will work on DDR3 speeds so no need spending more. if you can help me with you system config then i can suggest you proper upgrade equipments. share your whatsapp number . thanks and yes you cannot use DDR4 into DDR3 it is incompatible

lekin kyun jo support karta hai wohi chalega dost... if your processor supports DDR3 then get a DDR3 only...

Not hardcore gaming but yes you can play normal games at medium settings.. like pubg and racing games like asphalt and all
