The vent holes are at the back edge of the laptop so when you open the lid and use, the vents holes are blocked and it causes overheating, though I am using inspiron 3501 but I think that might be something you might have experienced please reply

so it has vent near hinges that brings all the blocked fan air to pass through these holes that protects my laptop from overheating I have never faced this issue ,a lil bit heating is v normal when I overwork but it is never that it overheated have 1,5yrs experience using this laptop now, never overheated

@@TheKanpuriyaTech I can't say how much heating is overheating but the vent holes in inspiron series are half blocked when the lid is up, which kinda blocks the air and the panel heats, during high usage when fan starts, it's. a con , rest everything is perfect with these laptops, also I bought it for 47k but now its around 40k
