I too got my laptop hinge replaced under warrenty , but this issue is common across most of the user. And even dell has agreed that it’s a manufacturing defect, same thing will cost 6k post warrenty. So I had called up the customer care and asked them to provide extended warrenty to 3511 laptop users at a lesser rate and even the technician agreed that the new hinges are also of the same quality as previous one.

My issue got resolved within two days… The parts got shipped to Pune from Bangalore and then the technician visited my place the very next day. The issue isn’t that… this 3511 is a product with a defective hinge design, even if you get it replaced then also it might happen it future. Worst when it happens post warrenty period, it will cost around 6k to replace everything. The technician, dell support team and a Dell outlet near my pace …. All have agreed that this a defective design. So now the challenge is that what should a customer do if the hinge breaks post warrenty. I am sure, your current issue of hinge will get resolve sooner or later depending on the availability of hinge or technician

Don't purchase this model 3511 or 3515 this is manufacturing fault after replacement also you will get issues, if you purchase this model definitely you get this issue.

I will give you 1 suggestion: Whenever you buy budget or midrange laptop, just open the hinge cover and calibrate it as you want. This will never fail your hinges and plastic holds.

If we live in urban area or larger city , it takes 3-4 days , whereas for small districts and rurals, it will take nearly 20-30 days

Hi, i also got the same problem of hinges. Now they are saying due to Shanghai lockdown parts replacement will take around 40days. They are also offering full system replacement, but i will get refurbished one(almost same age laptop as mine). my laptop is 9months old. Which is a better option parts replacement or refurbished system? Please share experiences of refurbished one if anyone has opted?

Hello! This video is uploaded two months ago now and may I ask since it's already 3 months after the repair, Is your laptop hinges still in a good phase? We have the same model and I wanna know it's condition now😊

@@TheKanpuriyaTech Oh great to hear! Hopefully the hinges will not be in trouble again haha. Btw I'm from the Philippines. In our country, all are covered by the warranty except for the LCD so I really need to take care of the screen haha btw thank you so much for the update, this is actually for research purposes so it means alot, thank you!

@@amqandrea since basic warranty ung sakin ay 9:00AM-6:00PM lang ang calling hours nila and monday to friday lang un. Pero ung sa ibang warranty ata nila isa 24/7.pero sabi ng technician na pumunta samin is pag 24/7 ang natawagan mo, mas mataas ang tendency na ang sumagot sayo ay indi Filipino

I'm also facing the same issue recently. I had raised my complaint for about 25 day's ago 10/4/22 still the service is pending till now 12/5/22. They are giving the excuse of lockdown in chaina shengai which sounds senseless . I'm Very disappointed by #dellservice for such delays in service. #dell #inspiron #serieb #dellinspiron

I have also facing same issue guys. I have raised complaint for about 19 days ago 1/05/2022 still the service is pending till now 20/05/2022. #dellservice is not good.

I had an inspiron laptop which I had hinge issues twice, i now contacted them and informed its an issue which keeps occuring and asked for laptop replacement, i am not getting a new laptop from dell that too with an upgrade.

agar warranty me hai toh dell me call karke complaint register kara lo, agar nhi bhi hai aur 3 years ke under purcahse ki hai laptop toh bhi dell ko call karke complaint register kara lo, free of cost ho jayega replacement

Actually mere laptop mai bilkul same problem 1 yr ke baad aa rhi hai and jhaan se maine yeh laptop liya hai uski extended warranty Mai yeh issue thik nhi hoga . Tou iska cost kitna hoga can u tell ? And kya yeh free of cost repair hoga ya nahi?
