This type of laptop is easy to replace the memory module, unlike ohers you need to open the back cover. Good to know, but model is old. Other new one please... any way its great guide.

Hi @Boofa Mase! I do not sell parts/accessories, but I suggest that you buy USB type of headphones, it works well and it's plug and play too.

every RAM is the same for all laptops or it's different as per module or comapny????

Different, some RAMs are DDR 2, DDR 3, latest DDR4, also respective RAM clock speed like 1.6MHz, 3.3Mhz.. are different..

With normal usage, yes... it’s worthy than buying a new laptop. Having SSD could speed it up too.

Hello friend, I need help, I have the same computer; Dell Inspiron N4050 with a 1.6GHz Intel Celeron B815. My hard drive broke a while ago, and a friend lent me one, I put it in, all good. But when looking for their corresponding drivers, with the video ones I found that no driver works for me, either from the intel page, or from the dell page with my service code, I don't know what to do anymore, I hope you can help me , Thanks a lot.

@bondiolito, hi friend! you have not mentioned what operating system installed in the new hard drive. is it Windows 7 or Windows 10? or any open source OS. You may check the laptop specifications, but usually for Dell N4050 it can handle up to 8Gb RAM.

eventhough Dell does not have support for Windows 10, but still it is possible to install it. You may download drivers from other sources instead.

Yes, i made it on my own. Kaya lng, tama c DIY byExample, sa ganitong brand at version ang maximum nya 8Gb lng po, so 4 Gb lng bawat RAM connector (2 slots)... siguradong bibilis talaga ang laptop mo.

Maximum is only 8Gb total. If 2x, 4Gb each.

dapat icheck po both hardware and software. Sa hardware, pwd mo macheck if gumagana ba ang cpu fan, kasi pag ma-init na minsan unresponsive na or ang hard drive, baka defective. Or kung sa software naman, baka need ng update lalo na if windows 10 ang OS. Or baka may nadelete na file na related sa OS. If meron kang trusted na technician sa lugar nyo po, pacheck mo.
