Great video. Would like to make an important question in my case concerning these dell computers that come with raid as an active drive controller (intel rst active) and not ahci. The problem is that whenever i try to boot into these machines in a winpe environment with the Strelec package if you know that, in order to reset the admin password if i cannot log into it or just backup the data of a user into an external hdd before reinstalling windows if the precedent os is damaged and cannot be repaired, the internal hdd-s or ssd-s of just the os directories into the drives are invisible. I click on “This PC” and there’s only my usb visible and nothing else. I made a search on the internet and it seems it has something to do with the intel rst driver that abstracts the hdd from the os. Please help me, what should i do in this case in order to be able managing the pc even when the pc is unbootable or just the admin password is not recognized.

So this method works over the dell suggested method of disabling sata , raid settings in the bios first? And then load the driver. I will try this method as I am trying to put a MVME drive using the Flexbay which did not come with my T5820.

i can install windows 10, but it's not boot in the os, i can see the "windows boot manager" on bios uefi , but looks like it's not connect to the nvme drive. anyone have same issue?

Interesting, had no problems installing windows 10 to 2.1 nvme on the Dell Precision 7910. Fought like hell however trying to upgrade to Win 11. Required boot setting change from legacy to UEFI to enable Secure boot, but couldn't change the UEFI boot options so Win 11 never saw the drive to load to. Eventually just switched BIOS back to legacy and will stick with Win 10
