WEF attempts to dictate, mandate, impose, dehumanize, abuse humanity, view people as economic units, deny family values, deny faith, corrupt humanity with the notion that the corporation is somehow something to worship, and they never volunteer to die but they are the first to promote controlling the population... Hypocrisy, Power hungry ideologues, with self centered interests for profit. Not about life, but about control. They can kiss my ass.

@@JamesG1126 How about some big named ones that you can look up yourself? Lehman Brothers - Repurchase agreements Saytam - Falsifying records Enron - Hiding debts Treaty of Utrecht - Concealing information KPMG - Auditing failures These were all started by an auditing firms and leaked out to outside sources. . And that is off the top of my head. But it is estimated that only 4% of fraud is actually found by outside auditors. I used to do audits for NCCU. Half the time it is something clerical or innocent. But even that can be the start of a pattern. The likelihood of a forced reckoning is increasing. Congress has already taken away the profession’s authority to set its own standards for public company audits after continued missteps, putting this duty in the hands of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. Loss of the ability to self-regulate was the first step; if firms can’t follow set standards to protect the public, then it’s fair game to open auditing up to anyone who can.

The guest was correct in saying that we have 'more common ground' than not. At this point we all gotta come together and do the right thing. Media needs to start reporting more positive messages. You can't turn the TV on or go on your Google app without getting completely depressed these days. At what point is the media gonna start doing right by the people?? Giving the people what they want is not always the best thing☝

It's their business model? No one watches bland, positive news. The entire monetization happens on publishing 'sensational' news, to get eye balls that in turn help drive their ad dollars. Doesnt matter if it's fake - needs to be edgy, divisive, stimulating. Plus, most MSM is now bought by political parties and that's another major source of funding for them - this model is likely to stay unless things completely break down and there is a revolution to put the legislative, executive, judicial, and the press in their place and stop their abuse of power. My hunch is things get worse before they get better....

@@mg-by7uu It is interesting you say that. Lots of "News Agencies" have had ratings issues for awhile. But they don't like to retract or apologize for stories they got wrong. None of the Pulitzer Prizes that were given to false stories have been returned. And it still feels odd that Claas Relotius was named CNN's Journalist of the Year. Not saying these people are wrong all the time. But taking some responsibility would go along ways to restoring credibility.

What they say at Davos isn't accurate because those crocodiles don't broadcast what they're actually planning. Germany shouldn't subsidize semiconductors, they'll always be way behind the US, and the EU will always have 2nd rate production in Ireland. Instead, they should cut taxes for energy companies, and quietly encourage a hostile takeover of the technology at ITER. First company to commercialize fusion reactors will have a 10 year head start, and the first country to do it will gain more capitalization than Microsoft, Apple, and Aramco, combined.

- We are not going to 'completely' decarbonize the world. Sure, some changes can be made but that is literally impossible. They'll destroy economies, over spend, treat us Guinea pigs only to find out that 'rationally speaking;, we cant decarbonize everything - It's not just the 'what', but also the 'how' they are going about it. WEF is now gloating that we can soon measure your carbon footprint based on the food you eat, the airplane you chose. This is the definition of stupidity and lunacy. The ways to 'decarbonize' involve engaging with India and China - the largest polluters who continue to add more coal plants, btw and have said NO to the West. US/West are literally going to choke their own economies, offshore all their needs to the East, diminish their own security in the name of 'see we dont manufacture this'. The reality is the manufacturing is still happening, oil/coal still being used - you have just moved it to Asia. That makes NO impact to decarbonize.....these are the tactics these politicians use as punch lines to push 'degrowth' agendas...ridiculous @@ludda42

Andrew Sorkin is a liberal sheep. On EV’s - the reason there I sent decent in Europe is they ( the EU Governments) have taxed the hell out of fossil fuels and are mandating shutting down any and all fossil based fuel Power Stations. We saw how great that worked in Germany as a result of the Ukraine war. We are seeing first hand here the limitations of EV’s ( initial cost, insurance costs, Cold Weather inefficiencies). These vehicles are a niche product. Yes they should be available but let the market decide…. Not some unelected bureaucrats in Washington.
