Hallo, die Scheiben bekommt man bei eBay oder Amazon und bestehen aus Flanellbaumwolle o.ä. Ich empfehle die vielen Tutorials auf KZfaq die sich mit dem Thema Polieren beschäftigen und alles detailliert beschreiben. LG

@Average Student: I think the circuit- or the control board is broken. If you buy new electronics make sure that the serial number on the boards are matching.

@@yt.myworks Thank you for the quick reply. I bought brand new two years back and it has worked very well for the 800 cups I made, i didn't open anything but the infuser to add grease to the O-rings and the transmission screw. Do you think this could lead to circuitry issues? If not, could you please suggest any alternate causes. I read somewhere that if transmission is misaligned, it could lead to this issue but I am not sure, I figured i'd ask you as you know more about delonghi ecams than most! Delonghi support has not responded.

@Average Student: The lubrication of the gearbox cannot lead to electronic errors. Does the machine give any signs? LEDs light up or noises from the motor, pump?

@@yt.myworks I sincerely appreciate you following up. The machine responds with absolutely nothing, its like totally dead! I am in a country that has no DeLonghi service centers, no sites that sell Delonghi parts so I want to try and narrow the issue down to the most possible causes to avoid having to replace parts that are perfectly fine. I cannot even cannibalize a used machine for parts as I won't find any here. I already knew i'd have to maintain it well so I have always used OEM filters, descaling liquid and recommended descaling cycles. I have only made 800 or so cups and have regularly cleaned the grounds bin, the inner chamber and infuser regularly off any particles of coffee grounds or moisture. I actually did not find my infuser anywhere close to being as filled or dirty as the ones i have seen in your videos if that tells you anything.

@Average Student: This is very strange. I've never had a DeLonghi machine that broke after 800 coffee cups. This is definitely not a mechanical problem otherwise the machine would make noises. I recommend finding someone who is familiar with electronics and can measure the parts. Probably there is a small part on the circuit board that can be changed.

Das Video ist mir leider nicht besonders gut gelungen obwohl viel Arbeit dahinter steckte. Ich habe die vergilbten Teile mit Wasserstoffperoxid Lösung behandelt und gegen austrocknen abgepackt. War doch am Ende mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden.

@@yt.myworks I saw that video and I know how to disassemble inner burr, but even at its grinder setting 1, which is the finest it goes, extraction still way fast than it should be, that's why I'd like to know that is there a way to adjust the burr to go more finer.

@@checkwhatsleft4565 You can move the white ring (gear) a little by one centimeter. Put the adjustment knob back in and you can fine tune the grinder.
