Delta Force 2 PC Mission Play Book

This is a playthrough of the sixth Quick Mission of the game Delta Force 2, made by Novalogic. The quality was way better before adding it to youtube, but it gets slightly better if you change the quality on the display near the Full screen button.

This mission was in demo and I play it every day..It was my favorite mission.This is so nostalgic! I was 8 when i play this.Now i'm 23

@GreenAndMeat paw It got me hooked too. I had only just bought a PC when this came out, at the age of 18. These 3D voxel graphics, with long grass you could walk through, really impressed me. Parachuting down into the action like that was nothing like any of the games I had seen before, let alone played. Using real weapons too, rather than fantasy stuff as was the case in most 3D games of the time, very cool. Watching again now I started remembering where the enemies were at the insertion point, and how I'd sometimes wait until I was on the ground before opening fire, whilst other times I'd try and take them out while still parachuting in. I'm also noticing the grass isn't nearly as long as I remembered, lol. But even so, I don't think any other game even tried making grass that was anymore than a flat texture for years after this. Oh, and I love the bit at the end when, with the chopper coming into sight, a group of enemies come running across your path. Gives you a little shock and a chance to get some more kills (providing you didn't follow the lowland route to the extraction point).

I remember that demo. Think I played this mission about 10 times everyday as a kid.

When I was a kid I tried to get on it hundred times, but I get killed easily without not shooting at bad guys to catch the truck

Tbis brings back so many memories to when inwas a kid. I once played this and just ran to the truck as it took me right into the camp. Fun times!

Never on a game has blowing up a tent looked so epic, it literally self destructed if you threw a grenade in there

If you take the long route on the hills to the left of the insertion point and avoid the checkpoint, Alpha 1 and 2 will follow you and then continue on an alternative path which leads to their original overwatch positions. DF2 have so many secrets it's unbelievable and I bet there are many more to be discovered in this game.

Thanks :) I want to play this game again at some point. I will stream it on my Twitch account in the future I hope. This is such a good game and I spent many hours in Nova servers meeting other people :)

By the way if you want charlie team to survive you have to climb the mountain next to the base to kill all enemies on the other side of your destination when you make it to black widow

Delta force was awesome super realistic lovely memories project igi was realistic but difficult and call of duty has good graphics but very childish

Do you use Fraps to record the game? cuz fraps dont work on my laptop. A remake of the game would be great just ad more guns.

I used Movavi Screen capture. Fraps didn't work for me either. Yes, a remake would be awesome With more weapons and more missions :)

Lost popularity slowly over time. Pretty sure it was gone after Delta Force Extreme 2. I was buying them and ready to buy the next one but alas it never came. These guys got me started on FPS, especially mission editing online sandbox FPS. This and Counter Strike.
