I don't think it would've mattered if that enemy got spared. In Deltarune, choices do not matter.

@@jessegd6306 Except they do. Just differently when compared to the simple good or evil choices in Undertale. Chapter two really made that clear. Well that and this whole thing is just Fox dunking on us for wanting an other Undertale experience.

Fun fact: I don’t believe the route of the King falling asleep was in the original chapter 1. Originally, no matter what you did, the king got taken away by the people, led by Lancer. Edit: I have been informed that it actually was in the game, but only if you weren’t full pacifist.
