@@Ezecool-3105 kris is not the knight, but may of created the dark fountain that was in the house living room for some reason. If kris was the knight, then answer this: when you seal the cyber worlds dark fountain you can see that Noelle and berdly are already studying, meaning it was made while they were inside, however kris was NOT inside and he was probably at the school at that time. There’s also the point that the other guy made where he backed away from the closet. Why would he even fight the king anyways?

not necessarily betraying Kris, but keeping some big secret from them about who he is, and why he pretends to think so highly of Kris (I have a small theory that Ralsei acts so kindly to Kris and lays everything out so Kris always seems to "save the day", whether that be by saving the kingdom in Chapter 1, thanking Kris and complimenting them for any small thing they do, helping them when theyre struggling in puzzles and then acting as if Kris did it all on their own, he does this just to give them a chance to shine for once in their life, as in the surface world Kris is easily forgotten, unmotivated and never seem to get their way)

@@dylanzlol7293 I know this theory is far from perfect, but I think it has something to do with his biological relation to the Dreemurr Family. Perhaps he ran away from the Dreemurrs very early on in his life for some reason, too early for Kris to remember his existence, or somehow got lost, and ended up in the dark world, found the legend of the Delta Warriors, and began waiting many, many years for his currently yet to be adopted, or even born, human sibling to fall down and fulfill the prophecy. We know Ralsei is many years older than Asriel and Kris if my theory is true because of his extremely undeveloped social skills, he is as innocent and naive as a child, but very intelligent as he has spent all his years studying in his empty castle town instead of speaking to people. He even told Kris that, when Kris hugs him in the training battle, they're the only person he's ever hugged in his entire life. As to why he could have ran away from Toriel and Asgore, as seen in Undertale and Deltarune they aren't really very good parents. They both appear to be kind and loving at first but both have done some terrible things, whether that be Toriel neglecting Kris who is clearly showing signs of depression and putting Asriel in the spotlight instead, being creepily overprotective, possibly even crossing the line of mentally abusive (Toriel literally punishes Kris for spending time with possibly their first friend in a long time by making them go to bed early after chapter 1, a very childish punishment for someone who is assumed to be in their late teens. Toriel does not like Kris growing up and wants them to stay the same child, forever, another example is her holding Kris's hand into high school as they look down embarrassed, driving them around everywhere ect.). Both parents argued a lot in Undertale and Deltarune in front of Chara, Kris and Asriel, and while Chara wasn't exactly mentally sane before they met the Dreemurrs if you go by the theory they were trying to commit suicide by falling down the mountain, they clearly didn't get the help they needed from the Dreemurrs if Chara ended up attempting an extremely painful suicide *again* via buttercup poisoning, and unfortunately succeeding. Toriel completely abandoned her kingdom after her children died and ran away to the ruins, possibly for hundreds to thousands of years before the events of Undertale, and Asgore chose the slowest way possible to collect souls to break the barrier instead of just waiting for 1 soul and taking 6 more from the surface in 1 go. TL;DR: Toriel and Asgore aren't good parents, I believe Ralsei is their first son in Deltarune who ran away from a potentially abusive household, got lost and ended up in dark world. Many years later Toriel and Asgore have another son, Asgore being bad at names just re-arranges the letters from Ralsei to make Asriel, and try to forget about Ralsei's existence due to being overcome with grief. Along the way they somehow also end up adopting a human Kris (and I'm very excited to find out exactly why Kris got adopted when the game comes out), over the years the already fragile family begins to break apart and eventually they get a divorce, Kris being overcome with grief struggles to live their daily life until one day they fall into a mysterious Dark World, the same way Ralsei fell into the Dark World when he was wrecked with grief. There, Kris meets their long lost brother Ralsei, but is too young to know who he is. Ralsei knows Kris, however, as in the game he seems to know their name without anyone ever telling him it before he first says it. One thing I didn't think much about is how Ralsei seems to be native to the dark world, maybe spending so much time near the fountain waiting so many years corrupted him and literally turned him into a darkner or maybe boss monsters and Darkners show similar traits, I'm not sure on that one yet. But that's my theory on Ralsei's secret!

I just remembered this vid at the end of the Deltarune chapter 2 and I was like “oh shit I think a vid predicted this.”

Maybe kris isn’t actually the knight though, yeah we see him opening a dark fountain in chapter 2’s end but maybe toby is just trying to make kris seem more evil than he actually is, think back to the end of chapter 1 and beginning of chapter 2 for example. Kris wanted to eat the pie. And Kris really likes Susie so maybe he made another dark fountain because he wanted to go on another adventure with her.

I kinda intented it to be the knight is one of the discarded vessels at the start of the game, or at least another human, because if they had determination like frisk and Kris appear to then it would explain their extreme power. but obviously I'm not Toby fox and have no idea who the knight or the discarded vessels are, this is just my interpretation of what could happen!

@@silverv2964 There's quite a bit of proof to even being implied by Toby, and usually in-game when people mention the Knight they mention it separate from Kris, even Jevil and I qoute says "The Hand of the Knight is drifting forward" and "From now, A nightmare will awaken in your hearts. In the Shadow of the Knights hand... Lightners, can you stop it?" going off of logic from just these 2 qoutes Kris can't be the knight, if Kris was the knight wouldn't Jevil say "in the shadow of your hand" instead of "The Knights hand"?. King says "By the Knights will, I shall shatter your heart to pieces!" and "My KNIGHT. . . I shall not fail you. . ." I think these bits of Dialogue alone proves it but if you pay attention to details in-game you'll find more proof

Kris. And the one who created the fountain is reffered by queen as the knight, not Kris

@@silverv2964 Well there's a detail when you seal the fountain, Berdly and Noelle have books out on the table and are sat down, and if it was made before surely staff would've noticed and probably would close the librarby due to weird activity. Kris also would've had to break it to do it. that's also assuming that Kris is the only character that can or does have a knife. "Berdly and Noelle have books out on the table and are sat down" This in itself implies that the fountain was made while the 2 were studying as well as there being a closet behind them able to "fit a large person inside" which the Knight could probably easily have fit inside also during said time Susie and Kris were in Castle Town. . .For said fountain in the living room, Alphys herself says there's no school the next day so there would be no excuse to go to castle town hence making a fountain would make an excuse for adventure, opening the door would give Undyne or any cop to come inside since Toriel called the cops and Undyne laughed at Kris when they said Dark Worlds were being created, so the door being open could lure Undyne in and proof to her that Kris was right about there being Dark Worlds. so there are quite a bit of implied things to suggest why Kris made the living room fountain, as there is things counteracting claims of them making the Librarby fountain.

Yeah its based on cards because at the time I made this we only had chapter 1 of the game and a lot of us thought the whole dark world would be card world themed lmao.
